The 2 nd AOPA International Flight Training Exhibition (2014) The 2nd AOPA International Flight Training Exhibition, jointly hosted by AOPA-China and Transport Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and fully supported by IAOPA and CAAC China will be held at Shenzhen Convention and exhibition Center from 3rd to 6th July, 2014. Based on the experience of the 1st exhibition last year, it is estimated that the total stream of visitors can reach 30,000. The exhibition belong to brand activities of AOPA-China. It is to implement the State Council s Recommendations on Promoting the Development of Civil Aviation, and to respond to the call of the 12th 5-Year Plan of China s Civil Aviation Development. The Flight Standard Department of CAAC is fully supportive of this event. Background In November 2013, the Chinese people's Liberation Army General Staff and the Civil Aviation Administration of China jointly issued the approval and management regulations of general aviation flight task, which further relaxed or loosened the restriction of general aviation development. It indicates the general aviation flight procedures will be simplified greatly, and China's general aviation will usher in a period of rapid development. 1
