Employer Guide: How to Navigate Titan Jobs WELCOME! This guide will help you navigate the Titan Jobs online recruiting system. Through Titan Jobs you can update your profile, view and add jobs, search for applicants, participate in Hire a Titan on-campus interviewing, and register for career fairs and special events. Registration/ Log In Step 1: Visit our home page: www.uwosh.edu/career Step 2: On the home page, click on the link that says Employers Step 3: Existing Users - If you are a registered user, simply type your username and password, then click Login. New Users - If you have never registered, select Employers, Click here to create a new account under the login button. Search for your organization. If found, select your organization and click continue. Complete your profile under Contact Information and click the Register button. If not found, click Can t Find Your Organization? Complete your profile under Employer Information and Contact Information, and click the Register button. You will receive an email after your registration has been approved. You will have to be activated to post jobs and register for events. Please allow up to 24 hours for this process. NOTE: Forgot your password? Click the Forgot Your Password? link on the login page to have it reset and emailed to you. Home After you login, you will be on the Home page. Here you will find 4 useful tools: Announcements - Important announcements about UW Oshkosh Career Services, our students, and upcoming events. Resource Library - Find helpful documents including this Employer Guide and the Employer Recruiting Policy. Quick Links Report a Hire - Let us know you hired a student by clicking this link. My Task List - View all new resume referrals/submissions (you will also be notified via email when a student applies to one of your job postings). Calendar - You will see jobs that are expiring, upcoming interviews, and information sessions for your company in addition to upcoming fairs/events. My Profile Update your contact information (password, phone #, email, etc) by selecting My Profile from the navigation bar. NOTE: Under the Employer profile, you can opt into the Employer Directory. You can choose to have your company contact information displayed or just your company name. The Employer Directory is viewable by students. Page 1 of 6

My Jobs How to Create a New Job Step 1: From the navigation bar, select My Jobs > New Job Step 2: Enter job information in all required fields (denoted with *). Note: To receive the largest number of qualified applicants, leave all non-required fields blank. Tip: Please remember to include application instructions in the appropriate field so applicants know how and where to apply. Step 3: Select Save. Your job will be submitted for approval. Please allow up to 24 hours for this process How to Re-Post an Existing Job Step 1: From the navigation bar, select My Jobs > Job List Step 2: Locate the job you would like to re-post, and click on the Job ID or Job Title to view posting information. Step 3: In the far left column, click Copy Job. This will create a new job number for the posting, and bring it to the top of the list in search results. 30 days is the maximum time recommended for postings Student Search How to Search for Qualified Candidates Step 1: Student Search > Search Step 2: To find a student to work on-campus, search under Applicant Type for: Campus/Part-time Jobs, Work Study Eligible, or Step Student, as appropriate. Search. Step 3: Click on student name to view profile information and resume Student Contact How to Contact Qualified Candidates Step 1: Complete student search Step 2: Through Individual Resume To view resume for contact information on an individual candidate, click on their first or last name. Then select View Resume to open resume file in a new window. Step 2: Through Resume Book Create resume book. A new window will open that displays a student summary. The summary provides email information for each student. Click Download All in the lower left-hand corner to download a.zip file of the information. Click Print/View All to create new printer-friendly window Page 2 of 6

Resume Book How to Create a Resume Book Step 1: Complete student search Step 2: Check the box of the student(s) you are Interested in and click Create Packets, or click Select All to include the resumes of all applicants in your search results, then click Create Packets. Step 3: A new window will open that displays a student summary. To view an individual student s resume, click on their name on the left-hand navigation column. Hire a Titan! On-campus Interviewing How to Request a Room & Schedule for On-campus Interviewing (Hire a Titan!) Step 1: New Room Request A room request must be made prior to requesting a new schedule. This allows for viewing the current status of room availability for all calendar dates. a. To begin, select On-Campus Recruiting > Room Requests. b. If the calendar appears automatically, use the arrows to select the appropriate month and click Make Reservation on your preferred interviewing date. Indicate the number of rooms you will need that day in the following pop-up screen; the number of available rooms are listed in each calendar day. Repeat this process for all interviewing dates and rooms you would like to request. Step 2: New Schedule Request After reserving rooms under Room Requests, make a new schedule request. a. Select On-Campus Recruiting > New Schedule Request from the navigation bar. b. Select a Schedule Type: Open: Students & alumni who qualify for an interview based on the criteria listed in the job posting may sign-up for an interview time via Titan Jobs. PRS Continuous: Students must submit a resume for review, and are either Accepted or Declined for an interview by the recruiter via Titan Jobs. c. Select a Reservation Date from the list of dates selected earlier for room request(s). Page 3 of 6

Hire a Titan! On-campus Interviewing (continued) d. Host Faculty for Lunch (Y/N): Network with a faculty member in the field of your choice during a one hour lunch, paid for by the employer. e. Network with faculty (Y/N): Network with a faculty member in the field of your choice for 30 minutes (usually scheduled prior to lunch). f. First & Last Interview Start Times: Indicate the start time of the first interview and the start time of the last interview of the day. g. Length of Interview: Indicate the length of time for each interview (in minutes) h. Lunch Break Time Length: Indicate the length of time for a lunch break (in minutes) i. Additional Request Information: Add any additional information or requests j. Select Save & Continue Step 3: Link Job(s) to Schedule Within the schedule request, link your job(s). If no jobs are currently active, you must copy an existing job or create a new job. When finished, submit schedule request. Tip: If interviewing for multiple jobs in the same room, link all jobs to the same schedule. If interviewing multiple positions, each in a separate room, make a separate schedule request for each job. Step 4: Our office will call you to confirm all details regarding your on-campus interviewing schedule & date. Request an Information Table or Session How to Request an Information Session in Reeve Union Step 1: Career Events > Information Session Request Step 2: Enter the preferred date and times of the information session. There is a text box for adding requests or additional information. Step 3: Our office will call you after checking with the reservations office regarding your request. Print Resume Packets How to Print a Preselect Packet: You can print the resumes of students & alumni who have dropped their resume to your On-campus Interviewing Schedule. Step 1: Go to On-campus Recruiting > Schedules List and then click on the desired on-campus interview schedule (click on the schedule ID or job title). Step 2: At the top in the left column you will see Manage Preselects Step 3: Click the Select All button and then click the Create Packet button to view all resumes. Note: This is also where you will make your selections as to whether a student is Accepted, Alternate, or Not Accepted for your Preselect Schedule. How to Create an Interview Packet: You can print the resumes of students & alumni who are signed up for your On-campus Interviewing schedule. Step 1: Go to On-campus Recruiting > Schedules List and click on the desired schedule (click on schedule ID or job title). Step 2: Scroll down to the bottom and find the Sessions section. Click on the desired interview date (there might be several dates listed, if you will be using multiple interview rooms). Step 3: Click the Select All button and then click the Create Packet button to view all resumes. Page 4 of 6

Report a Hire Hire a student? Let us know! Should I report a hire? Yes! You should always report the hiring of a student. Each reported hire helps our office to maintain accurate placement statistics. These statistics allow us to better serve both you and our students! How do I report a hire (Placement)? Step 1: To report a hire, click on the Report a Hire link located on your Home page (next to the calendar ). Step 1: Click Report a Hire to begin! Step 2: Search for the student you hired. Then, click Select Student next to his/her name. Can t find your student? Click the cl ick here link to enter his/ her na me. Step 2: If you do find your student, click Select Student next to the student s email address. Step 3: Select the job/position for which this student was hired. Can t find your job? Click here to enter position information. Step 3: Select the Job you hired the student for. Career Events Register for Career Events - Choose this menu option to register for upcoming events including: Career Fairs Dining with Professionals Mock Interviews College of Business Networking Night Jobs 4 WI Grads Register for a Jobs 4 WI Grads Account URL: www.jobs4wigrads.com Free for Employers to participate Visit one centralized, online location to reach candidates at 13 Wisconsin state universities Quickly and easily post jobs and internships/co-ops to all four-year UW schools Make a single request and receive resume referrals from multiple campuses Page 5 of 6

Employer Guide: Titan Jobs FAQs What to do if I forget my username? To retrieve your username, call Career Services at (920) 424.2181 or email cservice@uwosh.edu. What do I do if I forgot my password? On the Employer Login screen click Forgot Your Password? below the login button. https://www.myinterfase.com/uwosh/employer/ How do I create a new job? Refer to Page 2 of the Employer Guide: How to Navigate Titan Jobs under My Jobs. I m filling out a job for the first-time. What are these fields? Screening Options: If you choose to screen applicants by specific criteria, be sure to check the appropriate boxes under Screening Options. Show Contact Info: Choose Yes to show your contact information section. Choose No to hide it. Allow Online Referrals: Choose Yes to allow students to submit their resume through Titan Jobs. You will receive an email as students apply. Choose No if you prefer to receive resumes or student contact outside of Titan Jobs (be sure to fill out the Application Instructions field, so that students know how to apply). How long should I leave my job posting active? We recommend that you post jobs for no longer than 30 days. This will keep your job looking updated in our system. What happens if I need my job to be posted for longer than 30 days? You may copy the initial job post to create an updated posting. In your job posting, click the Copy button in the left hand panel of your screen. This will create a new job number for your job, moving your posting to the top of the list. Will I get an email before my job expires? Yes, you will receive an email at the address listed in your profile the day before your job expires. How do I close a job before the expiration date? Select My Jobs > Job List from the navigation bar. Select the job from the list by clicking on Job ID or Job Title to view posting information. At the top of the job (in the left column) click on Close Job. The status will change to Closed by Employer and will no longer be viewable to students. (Remember to create a placement if you hired one of our students. What does each job status mean? Pending: All new jobs are marked with this status. Once checked and activated by our office, it will be visible to students. Edited: All existing jobs that are modified are marked with this status. They are active so students can see them, but are not reviewed by our office. Active: After a job is approved by our office, we will assign your job this status. NOTE: You can close this job, by opening it and clicking Close Job under page functions on the left. Closed by Employer: This is the status assigned when you close the job. Inactive: When a job expires, it will be assigned this status. Page 5 of 6

How do I create or view job placements or resume referrals? Choose My Jobs and next to each job view the Activity column. R is for Referrals: Click the R to view students that have applied/submitted their resume. P is for Placements: Click the P to view job placements of previously hired students. Refer to page 2 of the Employer Guide: How to Navigate Titan Jobs under Report a Hire. What can I do if I am getting too many or too few applicants? If you are receiving too many applicants, we suggest you incorporate more screening criteria into your job posting. If you are receiving too few applicants, we suggest you reduce the amount of screening criteria in your job posting. Where do I find students to work on campus? Refer to page 2 of the Employer Guide: How to Navigate Titan Jobs under Student Search. Additional Programs Career Closet The Career Closet is an on-campus program helping to assist students in putting their best foot forward in making a good first impression. This program is dedicated to providing professional attire to students who are preparing for an interview, career fair, or other networking event, and are financially unable to purchase their own. Students are able to schedule an appointment to visit the Career Closet anytime during office hours to pick up clothing free of charge. The Career Closet welcomes donations of men and women s professional attire. Making a donation is easy; simply drop off your items at the Career Services front desk, or if you re really up for a challenge, consider hosting a company clothing drive. By making a donation, you are contributing to the professional development of UW Oshkosh students. Professional Skills Program Our Professional Skills Program is a unique partnership between Career Services and the University s four colleges incorporating professional growth opportunities both in and out of the classroom, including mock interviews, dining with professionals and courses that cover career implementation through transition to career. This program has allowed our office to reach 10,503 students through presentations and career events, not including the Career Fair on the Fox.
