His teaching covers all levels undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA and he gained international and cross-cultural teaching experience. In the filed of education management he supports universities in the development / improvement of curricula and the accreditation process of new programmes. In addition, Christopher acts as a mentor for start-ups and SMEs in the fields of business model design, strategic development and innovation management. His research interest focuses on business model development and the role of innovation for organisations for the creation of sustainable / transient competitive advantages as well as on organisational design and the question of how to implement a dual operating system to foster innovations. His doctoral thesis On the growth patterns and behaviour of small and medium sized enterprises has won a research award granted by the Tyrolean Science Foundation.
