Partners This summer school is organized by the following partners with the kind support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands: The Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies The Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies is dedicated to research, teaching and training in public international law. The Grotius Centre combines the expertise of Leiden Law School with the everyday practice of the international courts and tribunals in The Hague, the International City of Peace and Justice. The Grotius Centre offers two LL.M. programmes in Public International Law, various courses in the Leiden Law School Bachelor s programme, the Telders International Law Moot Court Competition, The International Criminal Law Moot Court Competition as well as summer schools and training courses for students and professionals. Oxfam Novib One person in three in the world lives in poverty. Oxfam is a worldwide development organization that mobilizes the power of people against po verty. Around the globe, Oxfam works to find practical, innovative ways for people to lift themselves out of poverty and thrive. We save lives and help rebuild livelihoods when crisis strikes. And we cam paign so that the voices of the poor influence the local and global decisions that affect them. Oxfam Novib is affiliated to Oxfam, a confederation of seventeen independent like-minded organizations. Together we work in over 90 countries on sustainable solutions to poverty and injustice. In all we do, Oxfam works with partner organizations and alongside vulnerable women and men to end the injustices that cause poverty. Oxfam Novib is proud to co-host The Hague Women, Peace and Security Summer School 2015, for the 6th consecutive year. Women Peacemakers Program Women Peacemakers Program is an activist organization that eradicates violent resolution of conflict and promotes the inclusion of female voice and leadership in nonviolent conflict resolution processes. Important values of the organization include gendersensitivity, acting nonviolence, community building and innovation. Women s Initiatives for Gender Justice The Women s Initiatives for Gender Justice is an international women s human rights organization that advocates for gender justice through the International Criminal Court (ICC) and through domes tic mechanisms, including peace negotiations and justice processes. We work with women most affected by the conflict situations under investigation by the ICC. WO=MEN WO=MEN is a large, diverse member-based network with over 170 human rights and development organizations, entrepreneurs, academics and gender experts working together for equal rights for men and women worldwide. The network works closely with the Dutch military as well as the NATO German/Dutch Military Corps and the Dutch police. WO=MEN coordinates, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Dutch National Action Plan (NAP) 1325 on Women, Peace & Security. The NAP 1325 is a unique collaboration between a broad coalition of actors to strengthen the efforts of women in conflict affected areas.
