3 1 Introduction With OneClick WebMeeting Basic, you can start web conferences on your PC with just one click. In order to use this application, you must already have a conference system account. If not, please register at https://konferenzen.telekom.de/en/products/ordersregistration. 1.1 System requirements 2 Downloading and installing You need to have saved the installation program on your PC in order to install the OneClick application. 1. Download OneClick WebMeeting Basic here: Read the add-in license agreement. 2. Launch the downloaded installation program by double-clicking. Operating system Windows XP (Service Pack 2) Windows Vista Business (Service Pack 1) or Windows Vista Enterprise (Service Pack 1) Windows 7 (Service Pack 1) 32- or 64-bit.NET Framework.NET Version 2, 3.5, or 4 1.2 Microsoft Office 3. Click on "Weiter" (Next). The installation will begin. 4. Once the installation has completed, you can choose whether you would like to immediately launch the application. If not, uncheck the box next to "OneClick WebMeeting Basic starten" (Launch OneClick WebMeeting Basic). The OneClick application can be called up separately or in Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, and 2010 within Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
4 3 Settings This section describes how to set up OneClick WebMeeting Basic for use. next to the clock, click on the arrow on the task bar to display all programs. 1. Enter your user name and password. These must be the same as the user name and password for your conference system account. 2. If you wish to save your password, check the box next to "Passwort speichern" (Save password). 3. Click on "Einstellungen testen" (Test settings). If "Test: OK" is displayed, click on the "OK" button. Your account has now successfully been set up. 5. Click on "Fertig stellen" (Finish) to continue. The application has now successfully been installed. 3.1 Conference system account Upon opening the application for the first time after installation, the window "Mein Telekom Konferenzsystemkonto einrichten" (Set up my Telekom conference system account) will appear. You can open this window at any time by right-clicking on the "Telekom OneClick WebMeeting Basic" application in the task bar next to the clock and then clicking on "Einstellungen > Konto Konferenzsystem" (Settings > Conference system account). If the application is not displayed in the task bar If the account setup process was unsuccessful, you will be shown the following message: "Test: Error. The login information does not match the information on the conference server. Please check your entries.
5 Please check your entries for mistakes. Re-enter your user name and password. Ensure that these details have been typed correctly. If the system does not recognize your user name/password combination or your conference system account is locked, please contact a Support employee by phoning 0800 0161 330 (free of charge) or by going to https://konferenzen.telekom.de/en/contact, for example. 3.2 Setting up an Internet connection 3.3 Selecting a language 1. Right-click on the "Telekom OneClick WebMeeting Basic" application in the task bar next to the clock and then on "Einstellungen" (Settings). 2. Select the language from the drop-down menu. German, English, Spanish, and French can be selected. 3. Click on "OK." The language settings will be saved. By default, the network settings in the web browser (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Chrome) will be used. If you would like to use user-defined settings, please proceed as follows: 1. Right-click on the "Telekom OneClick WebMeeting Basic" application in the task bar next to the clock and then on "Einstellungen > Verbindungen" (Settings > Connections). 2. Click on "Verwende benutzerdefinierte Netzwerkeinstellungen" (Use user-defined network settings). 3. Select the desired settings. If you have any questions about the network settings, contact your system administrator. 4. Click on "OK." The connection settings will be saved.
6 4 Launching OneClick WebMeeting Basic You can launch OneClick WebMeeting Basic from the Start menu, the task bar next to the clock, or in the Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 4.1 Launching via the Start menu 1. Click on the Windows Start button and then on "All Programs." 4.2 Launching via the task bar next to the clock OneClick WebMeeting Basic will only be displayed in the task bar if it has already been launched. 1. If the application is not displayed on the task bar next to the clock, click on the arrow on the task bar to display all programs. 4.3 Opening in Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint 1. Open Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. 2. In Office 2010 only: Click on "Telekom" in the menu bar. 2. Right-click on the "Telekom OneClick WebMeeting Basic" application in the task bar and then on Telekom OneClick WebMeeting Basic." 3. Click on "Neues WebMeeting Basic" (New WebMeeting Basic). 3. Click on "Neues WebMeeting Basic" (New WebMeeting Basic). In Office 2007 and 2003, you can find this in an extra symbol bar. 2. 7 4.4 Execute WebMeeting WebMeeting is launched after opening OneClick WebMeeting Basic (if Java has already been installed). 4.5 Inviting participants by e-mail In your standard e-mail client (if available), an e-mail template will open with automatically generated invitation text once OneClick WebMeeting has been launched. In addition, a window will open with the access information for your participants. If Java is not installed, you will be offered WebMeeting as a download. Please install WebMeeting to ensure you can use OneClick WebMeeting Basic. You can adapt the invitation text and send the invitation to all participants. If you close the template, you can re-open it at any time in the window with the access information by clicking on "Weitere Teilnehmer einladen" (Invite other participants).
