FAMILYWEALTHREPORT AWARDS 2014 INFORMATION PACK

OVERVIEW 2 Family Wealth Report has announced it is increasing its offering for the wealth management industry, with the launch of the inaugural Family Wealth Report Awards programme. The awards will be focused around three main category groupings: experts (individuals and teams); products and services for wealth managers and clients, and institutions of all sizes and types. These awards will build on the success of our established worldwide awards programme, our events business and Family Wealth Report s unique position in the global wealth management market, by focusing on the US and Canadian markets. Independence, integrity and genuine insight will be the watchwords of the judging process. This will involve specially convened expert panels drawn from both private banks and trusted advisors and supported by relevant expert third-party organisations. Main Categories Experts Products Services Uniquely, partner organizations will be included to express the views of clients so that the Family Wealth Report Awards will truly reflect excellence in wealth management from the grass roots up. { } Independence, integrity and genuine insight will be the watchwords of the judging process

IT S ALL IN THE DETAIL 3 BACKGROUND AWARD CEREMONY FORMAT JUDGING PROCESS The Family Wealth Report Awards will be supported primarily by its global network of daily newswires for the wealth and private asset management communities; Family Wealth Report, WealthBriefing and WealthBriefingAsia. Other supporting publications will be Offshore Red, and Compliance Matters. TIMING The culmination of the process will be a gala dinner on March 13, 2014 at the Metropolitan Club, New York during which the winners of the shortlisted entrants will be announced. This networking event will be conducted in a slick and snappy style. The formalities will not be dragged out unnecessarily as is so often the case at industry awards. Self-congratulatory pomposity will be strictly off-limits. There will be two judging panels for the awards: Investment advisors (judging the trusted advisor categories) Other trusted advisors (judging the investment management categories) This is to ensure that commercially sensitive information is kept confidential and to avoid conflicts of interest. The selection and judging process for the 2014 awards will begin in the summer of 2013. Nominations will open on August 5 and close on November 25, 2013. All firms will be notified whether they have made the shortlist by January 7, 2014. MEDIA EXPOSURE Entrants who are shortlisted will be announced on all Family Wealth Report media, as will the eventual winners. Additionally, an extensive PR campaign will highlight all the winners and shortlisted entrants to relevant media. PARTNERS External organizations will be brought into the judging process to further objectivity and to ensure that the views of the industry as a whole, along with ultimate client base, are represented. These will include specialists in branding, marketing, IT, philanthropy and investment management. NEW YORK MARCH 13, 2014
