The mission of the Domestic Violence Council is to reduce the impact of violence on families by coordinating a dedicated, community-based response through advocacy, education and information. This resource guide was created to assist in carrying out the Council s mission. It provides valuable information about Palm Beach County s government and community-based response to domestic violence. Professionals and volunteers working in criminal justice and social services can use this guide as a comprehensive resource to assist victims and their families who are suffering from domestic violence. This resource guide is by no means a listing of all specialized services. The Domestic Violence Council of Palm Beach County does not endorse each program listed in the guide, but presents resources as informational guides only. If additional information is needed, please contact Center for Information and Crisis Services by calling 211.
