3 General Information Agencies listed in this guide have been placed under the headings that best fit the services they provide. Individuals will need to contact agencies regarding specific services provided, criteria for receiving services, and any fees which may be required. Many area agencies do not charge any fees for their services. Agencies charging fees may offer reduced rates based on family income. If you would like to have your agency included in this directory please contact the Alleghany Family Resource Center at (336) The Family Resource plans to continue to update and maintain this directory. This Directory has been provided by the Alleghany Family Resource Center. The Family Resource Center s primary goal is child abuse prevention and we strive to meet that goal through providing services which build on family members strengths and capacities.
