I am interested in the use of both qualitative and quantitative methods for translational policy research as well as policy evaluation. My focus thus far has been on prevention based policy areas such as injury prevention and tobacco control. I am also interested in the effective use of Health Impact Assessments to incorporate health considerations into policy and program decisions that have not traditionally been viewed as being health relevant. 10
