Pioneering Detox and Rehab Choice

TTP: Pioneering Detox and Rehab Choice Over years of providing treatment for alcohol and drug addiction, one thing has always been clear. Everyone is different. Different needs, experiences, responses and journeys. What works for one doesn t necessarily give the best results for another. So the best way to help as many people as possible to achieve long-term recovery is to offer choices. To overcome addiction, people need access to a diverse range of services, treatments and accommodation options, backed up by the expertise and strength of an organisation dedicated to nurturing each individual client and their recovery. Welcome to TTP. TTP: The Facts 3 Inpatient Detox Units 31 beds 2 Residential Rehabs 33 beds 4 Community Rehabs 160 beds 4 Recovery Communities over 600 clients in treatment 12 Recovery Housing Projects over 250 beds. Our Mission TTP s mission is to provide high quality, outcome focused drug and alcohol addiction recovery services nationwide. Our Values We act with integrity and show respect We are all accountable We are passionate about our business, our service and our clients We have the humility and hunger to learn We love success We strive for simplicity. Our Vision Every person and family suffering from drug and alcohol addiction has a free choice to fully recover from their addiction and achieve their potential.

I came in broken, resigned to a life of day to day helplessness due to my alcoholism. I now have hope that my recovery will lead to a life of freedom, happiness and joy.

Making Recovery Choice a Reality Keeping clients at the heart of their treatment journey is central to everything we do. By bringing different treatment options and settings together, we give people control and choice, providing the flexibility to give everyone the best chance to live drug or alcohol free lives. With varied treatment approaches, a selection of accommodation options and flexible support structures, all our clients can be sure of finding what they need. Some people start with medically assisted recovery where substitute prescribing and detox options are available. This can often lead seamlessly into an abstinent recovery programme. Others are ready to start rehab and can choose between community or residential settings and between 12- step or Therapeutic Community treatment options. The ability to respond quickly and positively to individual need is a vital advantage of our broad treatment spectrum. We can adapt care plans and provide alternatives efficiently when personal needs change. Having multiple facilities gives the team the option to move clients into more suitable settings. This means that we maintain the momentum and motivation that can be crucial to recovery while ensuring that everyone receives the treatment that works best for them. Our clients are not locked in to one pathway working together, we can find the best route to their long-term recovery, health and success. It s been 2 years since I left TTP in Luton and just to let you know, I have now got a permanent job as a nurse in an Intensive Care Unit. I had been working as a community carer for 18 months but missed the hospital camaraderie etc. and am really enjoying the work I am doing, caring for seriously ill patients (incidentally also a lot of alcoholics in the final stages of alcoholism) and I am so grateful that I have been able to recover from the disease and am now able to care for those who have not had the opportunity that I had. Thank you for all your care when I was at TTP and I will always remember your kindness and understanding at that time.

TTP: Excellence from Referral to Recovery At every step along the way, we provide high-quality, responsive and co-operative treatment choices and meaningful, effective support. And not only to our clients where appropriate we also offer support to families and work closely with others who are committed to our client s wellbeing. Helping people to achieve their potential is a joint venture, with the client at the centre of everything we do. The Journey Our referral process is easy we take referrals from anywhere in the UK and work with every NTA region. Referrals may come from Healthcare Professionals, Community and Social Care Agencies, Prisons/ DIP teams, Individuals and Family Members. Just one call to our admissions team can get everything started and the team will work with you to find the best solution for your needs. Prospective clients are very welcome to visit our centres, meet staff and chat to peers about what we offer and what to expect from treatment at TTP. All clients are assessed individually to determine their specific needs and goals. We are very happy to carry out this assessment before admission but cannot reserve a place until funding is secured and confirmed. Next Steps The wraparound services that TTP have developed take into account the unique needs of diverse clients and offer flexible structures and support to identify and meet those needs. Each client receives their own person-centred recovery plan, which is kept under continuous review. Options include Inpatient or community detoxification for drugs and/ or alcohol A broad range of residential rehab programmes for drugs and alcohol Day rehabilitation services at centres across the country Housing assistance Sober living communities Social enterprise schemes Family support Support for training and pursuing employment Volunteer opportunities We understand that our clients need intensive support along with a high degree of independence. So we have developed a care structure that can be adapted for optimum results while remaining strictly within a guided code of conduct. Going Further Our clients live in real-life settings so they learn to adapt and cope with everyday situations and remain a part of the wider community. Experience has shown that this is a key part of equipping people for sustained recovery. We are unashamedly ambitious for our clients and are dedicated not only to getting our clients clean but helping them to stay abstinent and develop their potential as valuable and productive members of society, free from the crime and anti-social behaviours that so often go hand-in-hand with addiction. With primary and secondary care, aftercare and broader community support all available under one roof from an established, trusted organisation known for outstanding results, everything is here at TTP to offer the best chance for long-term recovery.

Housing As Part of the Solution, Not the Problem Stable housing is a fundamental element of the journey to recovery. Not having suitable accommodation in place is a worrying distraction for those working to overcome their addictions while having a guaranteed base can enable people to focus more fully on their treatment. Working in partnership with Inward House Projects, we have become the largest provider of recovery housing in the country. By pooling our resources, both in terms of real estate and expertise, we have more than 250 places in safe, suitable and supported housing available for our clients. And even more investment is planned. Once again, choice is an integral part of what we do. Some of our accommodation is on-site, while some is in local communities. Move-on housing is also important and shared housing, private properties and housing associations all play a part in creating and delivering individual support packages. We re working hard to give even more people the solid base from which to build a lasting recovery. Setting Standards Clients Can Count On Every one of our clients can count on the highest standards of support and professionalism at all times. In particular, they can expect: Experienced, highly qualified and dedicated staff delivering therapeutic interventions Respect Non-discriminatory treatment To be treated as an individual To be treated in a dignified way The right to privacy To be protected from danger and harm Consistency of standards in treatment A workable programme to remain drug and alcohol free for life

I would like to thank TTP for helping me get my life back on track and the chance to change for the better in a safe surrounding.

My first reaction on arriving at the clinic was one of high anxiety, but I soon became comfortable with my surroundings and the excellent staff, thanks for everything.

Why Are We the Best Choice? TTP was founded in 2005 and has helped thousands of people to achieve their potential without addiction to drugs or alcohol. An independent specialist provider, we are stable, sustainable and hardworking. Over the last six years we have grown steadily and now work in more than fifteen centres across England. To do that we have gathered a team of highly-skilled, dedicated and knowledgable professionals who all share the belief that clients can experience a seamless journey through treatment, benefitting from effective care co-ordination and open partnership working along the way. Experience and deep understanding are found in abundance in our staff of more than 160 experts, including GPs, nurses and some 70 qualified psychotherapists and social workers. Crucial peer support is also offered by around 100 volunteers, most of whom are working towards formal qualifications in a further illustration of TTP s commitment to the future strength and excellence of addiction treatment. As a Care Quality Commission (CQC) registered organisation, we provide high-quality, outcomefocused interventions. Our Quality Management System (registered with ISO9001) ensures that our services are delivered within a strict, audited quality framework. We are now able to provide treatment for over 1,600 service users per annum and the prospects for them look very positive we have very high rates of successful treatment completion and impressive levels of sustained recovery achieved by our graduates.
