2. Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer (Tunnelling) You will be part of the Project teams managing the construction of Downtown Line Stage 3 (DTL 3) tunnels for the new MRT railway line. For Tunnelling Professionals with the drive and enthusiasm to embrace new challenges, here is the opportunity to play a key role in the construction of the 42 km long MRT tunnel using Earth Pressure Balance Machines. 6. Senior / Executive Engineer Design Development (Road / Rail) You will be part of the team to spearhead the planning and design development of road / railway projects. You will conduct engineering feasibility studies, plan and develop the road / railway scheme, alignment and trackwork, safeguard road / rail corridors and design review of road / railway projects. You will prepare design brief, design drawings and tender documents, participate in tender evaluation leading to award of consultants or contractors. You will also develop and review engineering standards as well as providing technical support for project implementation. Recognised degree in Civil / Structural Engineering At least 3 years experience in Civil / Structural Engineering design Preferably with experience in managing road / railway project in design development stage Preferably with experience in railway alignment or trackwork design Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills 7. Senior / Executive Engineer Civil Design You will be part of the team in the planning and design development of road and rail projects. You will plan for site investigation works, conduct feasibility and engineering studies for road / rail projects. Your duties include assisting in design management of consultancy studies, conducting project safety reviews and construction audits for major infrastructure projects, reviewing engineering standards as well as providing technical support for project implementation. Recognised Degree in Civil / Structural / Engineering Knowledge of design and construction of underground engineering works will be an advantage Keen interest in land transport infrastructure projects Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
8. Deputy / Assistant Programme Planning Manager (Civil) You will be a part of a specialised team responsible for the programme management of major infrastructure projects. Main duties include project planning support, review of contractor s programmes, progress monitoring and reporting against baseline, coordination, scenario studies and mitigation analysis. You will be exposed to different scheduling software and in-house project planning and control practices/techniques Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering Good communication skills Those with experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and programme management using software such as Primavera Project Planner (P3) or Primavera P6 will be considered for senior position Primavera P6 software training and on-the-job training will be provided 9. Deputy / Assistant Road System Safety Manager You will play an important role in enhancing safety of road users in new road and rail projects undertaken by LTA. You will lead in the audits on road systems projects at relevant project stages and provide technical advices to project team on wide range of road safety issues. Other responsibilities include carrying out research on best international road safety practices, conducting courses to promote safety awareness, and the enhancement to safety management processes. The candidate would also be responsible for providing technical inputs to a wide range of road safety projects. Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or Traffic Engineering. Those with practical experience in road design, traffic management and road safety engineering will have an added advantage; Good command of English Effective writing and presentation skills Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills Analytical, resourceful, self-motivated and diligent Familiar with Microsoft Office software.
