Page 1 of 7 Recommended Hardware & System Requirements for ProVenueDatabox and ProVenueMax Systems Server Overview: The purpose of this document is not to provide a minimum specification but to advise you on what we would supply to run your system. Ticketing systems are inevitably Mission Critical and should therefore be treated as such. Our servers are designed around hardware resilience and will keep your data available and safe through power cuts, hard drive failure, power supply failure and network card failure. If you want to supply your own hardware then you are at liberty to do so. Our advice is to specify similar machines to those detailed below. If cost makes that impossible then please send us your proposed specification and we will ensure that it will, at least, run our systems satisfactorily. Minimum bandwidth between each workstation, internet gateway machine, server and network printers is 100 mbps. All network switches to be supplied and installed by the customer and should run at 100 mbps minimum bandwidth on all ports including up-links to other switches. Your network compliance test results to be available for inspection upon request. (Provided by your network installer, it will confirm cabling, switch performance and outlet bandwidth confirmation if required) All patch cords and network cabling to be provided by the customer. Tickets.com engineers do not carry any spare network cables at installation time irrespective of whether or not we are supplying the hardware. Please note: Any hardware items supplied by us will come complete with all the necessary cables EXCEPT for network patch chords and fly leads. Remote access is required for support purposes. Ideally this will be achieved via a broadband or leased line internet connection (with access through your firewall). If no internet connection is available you will have to purchase a modem and PC Anywhere for one PC workstation or your server. Note that modem support in NOT an option for ProVenueOne The support modem will need a direct dial analogue phone line provided by the customer.
