2 i2i Systems has partnered with Dell, Inc. to create minimum requirements for both servers and workstations. The hardware specifications contained herein are created using Dell server and workstation reference hardware. Equivalent, or greater, hardware specifications from other vendors are acceptable. i2i Systems recommends server configurations for health centers of varying patient populations up to 300,000 patients. For larger health centers (300,000+ patients) i2i Systems recommends custom server configurations that meet the specific needs of the centers based on items such as Patient Management System, Patient Count, Visit Count and User Count. Since your i2i Systems products rely on the server to do most of its complex data processing, the speed and capacity of the server can dramatically affect the application performance. When determining your server requirements, consider your current patient population as well as an estimate of additional patients with annual clinic growth and any additional locations that would utilize the i2i Systems server. Planning for the future of your patient population will prevent a premature (and costly) migration to additional server hardware. i2i Systems requires a Terminal Server and/or Citrix for implementations of i2itracks (if applicable) over a wide area network (WAN) to remote locations. For local users (LAN), a high- speed network connection to the i2itracks server is required (100 Megabit or Gigabit Ethernet cards). In general, a T- 1 (1.5MB) line will offer about concurrent terminal sessions. Adding other network capabilities to that circuit (VPN, internet usage, etc.) will reduce the effective number of concurrent users. 2 I2iSystems Hardware and Software Specifications Revised 04/09/2015

11 Software SQL Server Your i2i Systems products rely on Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2, or greater, Standard Edition (x64 Edition) for its data structures. Upon installation of SQL Server, the latest updates and services packs will need to be installed. When installing SQL Server, please use the following configuration options: SQL Server must be installed as case insensitive. The SQL Server client tools (i.e. SQL Server Management Studio and Query Analyzer) as well as the database server must be installed. SQL Server must be set to accept both Windows and SQL Server Authentication (Mixed Mode) o Assign an i2i Systems Windows account as a sysadmin- level login to the SQL Server engine SQL Server, SQL Server Agent services enabled (set to Automatic mode under Window Services) (no other SQL Services needed). Set Default Database file locations, for example: o Assign default database store (.mdf) = d:\sqldata (create sqldata folder); o Assign default database logs (.ldf) = e:\sqllogs (create sqllogs folder). o Assign SQL Server TempDB location = f:\sqltemp. **NOTE: The above are SQL Server configuration best practices; This configuration may not be possible in some cases. 13 Your i2i Systems database server relies on an installed Interface Engine Platform that controls the operation and timing of your data interfaces. The Interface Engine establishes local communication on TCP Port As a security best practice, this port should be enabled for the Local Host connectivity ONLY.
