This addendum is being issued to modify the scope of the bid. It is the intention of this addendum to remove all references to maintaining the chillers and pumps from this bid solicitation. The and Equipment listing and the price schedule have also been modified. This addendum must be returned with the bid submittal! Page 11 Scope currently reads; The San Antonio Water System is soliciting bids for the services of a qualified contractor to provide scheduled maintenance and repair parts and service for heating and air conditioning systems to include troubleshooting, and diagnosis. Equipment consists of various brands of split systems as well as Trane Water Cooled Screw Chillers and Carrier Air-cooled Liquid Chillers. Repair will be limited to minor repairs not-to-exceed $1,500 such as minor leaks, switches, relays, or other small parts identified when conducting scheduled maintenance, not to include the replacement of any major components. This contract will include equipment located at SAWS facilities throughout San Antonio and surrounding areas. Page 12 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS PERFORMING HVAC SERVICES 3. currently reads; Contractor shall have on its staff at least four (4) journeyman technicians with at least six (6) years experience each in the servicing and repairing of commercial/industrial HVAC systems. Provide the names of these individuals along with documentation substantiating the requested years of experience. ITEM 2 PARTS AND MATERIALS It is estimated that the San Antonio Water system will require $30,000.00 worth of parts and material biennially.
