ITTF Education & Training Mission Statement To play a fundamental role in providing: holistic pathways for Athletes and Coaches Development, by creating a level playing field for talented Athletes and promising Coaches, opportunities for Athletes and Coaches to obtain world s best practise sport specific knowledge, including education about rules, regulations and policies related to ITTF, ITTF events and policies.

FLAG ACTIVATION: 58 registered NAs with 185 Players NATIONAL/REGIONAL/CONTINENTAL PHASE: Ghana, Kenya, Zambia, Nicaragua, Haiti, Uruguay, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Bahrain, Oceania, Latin-America, Europe (Eurotalents) etc. 7

WFIM Leaving a Permanent Mark in Athletes Lives 7 out of 14 athletes supported via the WFIM/OS program qualified for the YOG 7 more players, supported through the Global Junior Program incentives, qualified, too Athletes Role Models, Wang Liqin and Jorgen Persson, at the 2014 YOG Culture & Education Exibition 14
2 online courses: YUP International with 38 participants YUP China with 78 12 Young Umpires from 4 continents were nominated/selected for Nanjing, with additional 4 targeted for the World YOG qualifications in Portugal Based on the positive experience with the YUP, thanks also to the fruitful cooperation with the URC, it is clear that the platform is ready to be used also for more comprehensive educational initiatives, for example online examination for International Umpires 16
