Configurations INTRODUCE BizNAS TO VEEAM BACKUP & REPLICATION To use BizNAS as a Backup Repository, it must be introduced to Veeam Backup & Replication as a Unix Server. Choose the BizNAS as a repository server (here IP Address 192.168.4.98) as RDX is directly connected to BizNAS. Click Next. Click on Browse Choose path of the repository (RDX-Drive) where backup should be stored. p.7 www.tandbergdata.com
The chosen repository is now displayed. As this is the RDX drive, different RDX media can be used! Click on Advanced. To be able to use media rotation, choose the last option! This will enable Veeam to perform a full backup on every new cartridge. Click OK, then click on Next. Click on Next at the next menu. Check your settings, then click on Next. The Backup Copy Job Copy Backup to RDX does the secondary backup to RDX. RDX is directly connected to BizNAS via USB 3.0. In the backup job definition of the primary backup job, a secondary task can be integrated. So, the backup copy job is automatically started.
