2014 Disney World Trip Dear Parents, We are very excited to offer the PHS Music Department, an amazing opportunity to have an unforgettable musical experience. This year the students will travel to Disney World and Universal Studios. As part of this trip the students will have a workshop with Disney professionals and perform on Disney property. Trip Date: Monday, April 14 th Saturday, April 19 th Please take a look through all of the information provided in this packet. It contains all of the details you will need about the dates, times, and pricing. One of the most important forms for you to look at is the TRIP INTENT FORM. So that we can get an accurate number of participants and reserve our hotel and motor coaches, we will need this form and $50 deposit returned to Mr. Pierce, Mr. Spotts or Mrs. Spotts by MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 rd. In order for a student to attend this trip they must meet ALL of the following criteria: 1. Be a member in good standing of band, choir, and/or orchestra. Good standing means that the students have a grade of an A or B. 2. Attend all performances for the above-mentioned groups. 3. Be in good academic standing (not ineligible). 4. Behavior---Students with administrative discipline referrals will result in needing administrative approval before attending the trip PARENT CHAPERONES: We would like to invite all parents to join their students on this trip to chaperone. The chaperone price will be based on room occupancy. Please realize that you will be a chaperone on the trip, which means that you WILL have other students assigned to you. Attached is a payment plan and tentative itinerary. All payments must be made on time. In order to assist with payment for the trip, students will be given the opportunity to participate in fundraisers throughout the year. Please watch for more information to come home concerning this.
