1 LAS VEGAS ACADEMY Performing Arts Department 2016 SPAIN PERFORMANCE TOUR March 19 25, 2016 DAY ONE: Saturday, March 19, 2016 LAS VEGAS DEPARTURE AMERICAN AIRLINES GROUP Meet Terminal 1 at AA Check In 5.00am Arrive at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport and meet your World Projects Tour Managers (Josh Wirt and JW Setzekorn) who will assist with checking in. After checking in your luggage and instruments, move through security onto the departure gate. JW Setzekorn will be traveling with this group to 7.05am Depart Las Vegas for Los Angeles on American Airlines flight AA am Arrive in to Los Angeles and transfer to your next departure gate. 9.00am Depart Los Angeles for Miami on American Airlines flight AA pm Arrive in to Miami and transfer to your next departure gate. 7.15pm Depart Miami for Barcelona on American Airlines flight AA112. Overnight en route. UNITED AIRLINES GROUP Meet Terminal 3 at UA Check In 9.00am Arrive at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport and meet your World Projects Tour Manager (Josh Wirt) who will assist with checking in. After checking in your luggage and instruments, move through security onto the departure gate am Depart Las Vegas for Newark on United Airlines flight UA pm Arrive in to Newark and transfer to your international departure gate. 8.15pm Depart Newark for Barcelona on United Airlines flight UA120. Overnight en route.

2 DAY TWO: Sunday, March 20, 2016 Arrive BARCELONA (D) AMERICAN AIRLINES GROUP 8.50am Arrive in to Barcelona and proceed through immigration formalities. UNITED AIRLINES GROUP 9.00am Arrive in to Barcelona and proceed through immigration formalities. ENTIRE GROUP Upon moving in to the public arrivals hall you will be met by your local Tour Escorts who will travel with you throughout the tour: - Arianne den Haan - Jasmin Pfeil - Peter Oosterhoff 10.00am Load the coaches and equipment truck and transfer in to the center of 10:30am Sightseeing and Lunch on your own in 2.00pm Enjoy a panoramic guided tour of Barcelona highlights to include Gaudi s amazing Parc Guell, Plaza Catalunya and much more. Conclude your tour with a visit to Gaudi s unfinished masterpiece la Sagrada Familia. 5.30pm Transfer and check in to the hotel Hotel Expo (Band / Orchestra) Mallorca, Barcelona Ph: HCC Lugano (Choir) Avda Paral lel, Barcelona Ph: pm CHOIR transfer to the Hotel Expo by coach. 7.00pm Welcome Dinner as a group at the Hotel Expo. 8.30pm Dinner concludes. CHOIR transfer back to the HCC Lugano. 9:00pm Room Check and Lights out

3 DAY THREE: Monday, March 21, BARCELONA (B) Masterclasses / Performances 7:00am Wake up call 8:00am Breakfast as a group at the hotel. BAND & ORCHESTRA 9.15am Load the coach (with instruments) and transfer to the University of 10.00am Masterclass at a local venue with Jose R. Pascual Vilaplana. 1.00pm Following the workshop, time for lunch on your own in the area. CHOIR 10.30am Board the coach and depart for Montserrat (approx. 1 hour drive). ~12.00pm Upon arrival, enjoy a Guided Tour of the choir school of Escolania de Montserrat, one of the oldest music schools in Europe and home to the L'Escolania Choir. 1.00pm Following your tour of the basilica and school, you will have an opportunity to hear the Boy s Choir perform. ~1.15pm Performance for the choir after the Boy s Choir (10 minutes max sacred repertoire only). Afterwards, enjoy lunch on your own in the area before traveling back to ENTIRE GROUP 3:00pm return to the hotel to change in to performance attire and collect your instruments. 4:00pm Load the coaches and transfer to this evening s performance venue the Teatro Sant Cugat. Rehearsal / sound check upon arrival per concert program. 6:30pm Evening Dinner on own nearby the venue. 7:30pm return to concert hall. 8.00pm Performance at the Teatro Sant Cugat. Following the concert, pack up and return to the hotel. 10:30pm room check and lights out.

4 DAY FOUR: Tuesday, March 22, 2016 BARCELONA ZARAGOZA (B) Performance (choir) 7:00am Wake up call 8:00am Breakfast as a group at the hotel. Following breakfast, check out of the hotel and load luggage on to the coaches. CHOIR 9.00am Board the coach and depart for a visit to Poble Espanyol am Take the funicular from Montjuic to the beach which offers spectacular views across Afternoon Enjoy lunch on own and some time to enjoy the La Ramblas area of ~2.00pm After lunch, meet at a pre-designated location and transfer to Barcelona Cathedral. Upon arrival you will have time for a rehearsal and to change in to concert attire. 4.00pm Performance for the CHOIR at Barcelona Cathedral. 5.00pm Concert concludes. Change in to casual clothes. BAND & ORCHESTRA 9.30am Board the coach and depart for a visit to Poble Espanyol pm Take the funicular from Montjuic to the beach which offers spectacular views across Afternoon Enjoy lunch on own and some time to enjoy the La Ramblas area of 3:30pm travel to Barcelona Cathedral to hear Choir Performance 4:00pm Performance for the CHOIR at Barcelona Cathedral. ENTIRE GROUP 5.00pm Load the coaches and travel inland to the city of Zaragoza. 8:00pm Arrive in to Zaragoza and check in to hotel. 5 DAY FIVE: Wednesday, March 23, 2016 BARCELONA ZARAGOZA (B) Conservatory Residency & Performance 7:00am Wake up call 7:30am Breakfast as a group at the hotel. BAND 8.30am Load the coach (with instruments and performance attire) and depart for the Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Aragon in Zaragoza. 8.45am Arrive at the conservatory and setup for your workshop am Workshop with Mr. Miquel Rodrigo including local wind band students. Pieces to focus on will be: - American Overture - Kokopelli s Dance 10.30am Workshop concludes. Pack up and move to another location at the conservatory am Enjoy a lecture / presentation by Mr. Rodrigo about wind band history in Spain and student life in Zaragoza pm Presentation ends. Move in to the cafeteria pm Lunch on own at the conservatory including local students. 2.00pm Load the coaches and transfer to this evening s performance venue the Sala Mozart at the Auditorium of Zaragoza. ORCHESTRA 8.45am Load the coach (with instruments and performance attire) and depart for the Conservatorio Profesional. 9.00am Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the conservatory and a welcome by the Director and faculty. Possible presentation by members of the faculty am Load the coach and transfer to the Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Aragon in Zaragoza am Arrive at the conservatory and setup for your workshop a-12.15p Workshop with Mr. Juan Luis Martinez including local orchestra students. Pieces to focus on will be: - Symphonic Metamorphosis, 1st mvt - Symphony No. 9, 4th mvt 12.15pm Workshop ends. Move in to the cafeteria pm Lunch on own at the conservatory including local students. 2.00pm Load the coaches and transfer to this evening s performance venue the Sala Mozart at the Auditorium of Zaragoza.

6 CHOIR 8.45am Load the coach (with performance attire) and depart for the Conservatorio Profesional. 9.00am Upon arrival, enjoy a tour of the conservatory and a welcome by the Director and faculty. Possible presentation by members of the faculty am Enjoy a lecture / discussion about choral music and music education in Spain, specific to Zaragoza am End of the lecture. Enjoy some social time with choir students from the conservatory. Lunch on your own at or nearby the conservatory am Load the coach and transfer to the Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Aragon in Zaragoza pm Arrive at the conservatory and setup for your workshop pm Workshop with Mrs. Elena Ruiz Ortega including local choir students. Pieces to focus on will be: - Oculus non vidi - Exsultate Justi 2.00pm Load the coaches and transfer to this evening s performance venue the Sala Mozart at the Auditorium of Zaragoza. Conservatory Residency & Performance 2:30pm Arrive at the venue and setup for your rehearsal. 3:00pm Rehearsal / sound check upon arrival. 5:30pm Evening Dinner on own nearby the concert venue. 7:30pm return to concert hall 8.00pm Performance in conjunction with the Zaragoza Conservatory in the Sala Mozart at the Auditorium of Zaragoza. 10:00pm Following the concert, load the coaches and return to the hotel. 10:30pm room check and lights out.

7 DAY SIX: Thursday, March 24, 2016 ZARAGOZA BARCELONA (B,D) 8:00am Wake up call 8:45am Breakfast as a group at the hotel. 9:45am Check out of the hotel and load the coaches am Depart on a Guided Tour of Zaragoza. 1:00pm Lunch on your own in Zaragoza. 3.00pm Board the coaches and travel back to 7.00pm Enjoy a Farewell Dinner as a group at Restaurant QuQu in Barcelona to celebrate your Spain Performance tour! 9:00pm check in to hotel: 10:00pm room check and lights out TRYP Barcelona Aeropuerto Hotel Parque de Negocios Mas Blau II El Prat de Llobregat, Barcelona Tel: DAY SEVEN: Friday, March 25, 2016 BARCELONA LAS VEGAS (B) 5:30am Wake up call 6:00am Breakfast as a group at the hotel. 6.45am Check out of the hotel and load luggage on to the coaches and equipment truck. 7.00am Board the coaches and transfer to Barcelona International Airport. Arrive at airport, check in for your flights, say good-bye to local tour escorts and move through security to your departure gate. UNITED AIRLINES GROUP 10.40am Depart Barcelona for Newark on United Airlines flight UA pm Arrive in to Newark and proceed through customs and immigration. Drop your luggage at the transfer desk and continue on to your next departure gate. 7.30pm Depart Newark for Las Vegas on United Airlines flight UA pm Arrive in to Las Vegas, say goodbye to your WP Tour Manager and collect your luggage. AMERICAN AIRLINES GROUP 10.35am Depart Barcelona for Miami on American Airlines flight AA pm Arrive in to Miami and proceed through customs and immigration. Drop your luggage at the transfer desk and continue on to your next departure gate. 9.40pm Depart Miami for Las Vegas on American Airlines flight AA pm Arrive in to Las Vegas, say goodbye to your WP Tour Manager and collect your luggage.
