Getting Started DNS Settings In order to get Outlook to work well with exchange you need to make some DNS changes for your domain. Your domain is everything after the @ symbol in your email address. So, if your email address is user@domain.com then your domain is domain.com. You will need to create a SRV record for your domain, if your DNS provider does not support SRV records please contact our support team on 0208 133 1652 to discuss the options with us. The SRV record you need to create looks as follows: _autodiscover._tcp.yourdomain.com. 86400 IN SRV 0 5 exchange.uptimeit.co.uk All you need to do is change yourdomain.com to your own domain name. The second setup is to add the MX records, these point where email for your domain should be sent, they should read: mx10.uptimeit.co.uk mx20.uptimeit.co.uk Priotiry:10 priotiry:20 These entries should be made wherever you bought your email domain from. You should find that they have a control panel to make these changes, if not you will need to contact the support department for your domain. If you purchased your domain from Uptime Solutions then we will be happy to make these DNS changes on your behalf, simply contact the support team.
