Competition rules 2014 (1/7) BMX EUROPEAN LEAGUE 2014 BMX European League is a series of 6 international events Rounds 1 & 2 April 5 th /6 th Belgium / Zolder Rounds 3 & 4 April 26 th /27 th France / Besançon (1 round for Challenge classes) Rounds 5 & 6 May 17 th /18 th Switzerland / Grandson Rounds 7 & 8 May 31st / June 1st The Netherlands / Klazienaveen Rounds 9 & 10 June 21st / 22nd Great Britain / Birmingham Round 11 July 11th Denmark / Roskilde Double points will be awarded in Round 11 for the Championship classes 9 races will count for the overall Ranking for Championship riders No minimum races to compete in order to be part of the overall standing P. 3

Competition rules 2014 ALL UEC RACES Rider equipment : Short pants are allowed for all riders provided they are used together with knee and shin protection with a rigid surface that extends from the knee protection to fully cover the shin until just above the ankle Nevertheless the UEC BMX Commission recommends for safety reasons the use of long pants Riders without a permanent career number must not print a number on the back of their jersey New 2014: Riders aged 13 and older are allowed to use clip pedals New 2014: All riders must wear country flags on both shoulders or a national shirt at all rounds P. 16
Team Ranking (1/2) EUROPEAN TEAM RANKING New 2014 The 9 first races of the BMX European League count for the ranking All teams have to register through UEC prior to the first Event of the season A rider can only be part of 1 registered team during the series 9 C1 races 7 best results count The award ceremony will be held in Roskilde (Denmark), on Friday July 11 th with Team coaches and minimum 4 riders The UEC Commission will award 3 trophies to the 3 first teams and one medal to each member of the team P. 17
Team Ranking (2/2) RULES All teams register and pay a registration fee to the UEC at the beginning of the season (deadline March 15 st 2014) Teams have to confirm their participation to the event (BMX European League) together with riders registration They have to pay a fee to the organizers of 100,00 for a space of 6 x3 m for each team All classes are welcome : Challenge (20 & 24 ) & Championship 10 riders maximum in a team, but points to 4 riders registered by the Team Coach The list of registered riders will be sent out to all teams after registration deadline and Team Coach will have one week to decide which riders will make points, with possibility to change at registration control Points will be given according to European official grid P. 18
