1 Introduction This document provides you detailed information on how you use Dagang Net s etraining system. It guides you through the system, and provides instructions for creating new account before you can start submitting request for training and registering to the trainings offered. 2 About Dagang Net s etraining The main objective of this system is to provide training activities by using a web portal. 3 Landing Page Open your web browser and go to http://etraining.dagangnet.com You will reach the landing page of the system as shown below. Figure 1: Dagang Net s etraining Landing Page Note: The system has been designed and developed in order to support major modern web browsers: Internet Explorer 8.0+, Firefox 10+, Chrome 29+, Opera 11+. 4 New User Signup In order to use the system, user needs to create a new account. Signup form can be accessed by clicking Signup button at the top right of the page. Figure 2: New User Signup Form Fill out the signup form and click Sign Up button. If the new account is created successfully, a notification will be displayed and an email containing the account details will be sent to the email address specified during the signup process. Figure 4: Sample Email Notification 5 User Login To logon into the system, enter username and password at the top right of the page and click LOGIN button. 6 First Time Login For first time user, login with the username and password mentioned in the registration notification email received. Once successful, the system will ask for a new password. Enter the new password and click Change Password button. Note: the password can only be changed upon display of the strong indication next to the password. Page 5 of 22
Figure 5: First Time Login 7 Password Retrieval Forgotten password can be retrieved by submitting Password Retrieval form as shown below. Figure 6: Password Retrieval Form The form can be displayed by clicking Forgot your password? link at the top right of the page. User just need to put his email address, answer the security verification question correctly and click Retrieve Now button. A notification message will be displayed indicating whether the process is successful or not. If successful, an email containing the new password will be sent to the email address. Page 6 of 22

8 User Profile Once logged into the system, user can view and modify the profile and account info by clicking Profile button at the top right of the page. Figure 8: User Profile Page Page 8 of 22
9 Training Products The Training Product s page displays all the training products offered by Dagang Net. To access the Training Products page, click Training Products submenu under the Trainings menu. Figure 9: Training Products Page As shown in Figure 2, all the products are listed on the right. Click Product logo s to learn more about the product (description and training s price) will be displayed on the left. If you need further information on the product, click MORE INFO button. A new window will appear and you will be redirected to the product s page at Dagang Net s corporate website. Page 9 of 22
10 Training Events The Training Product s page displays all the training sessions arranged by Dagang Net. To access the Training Products page, click Training Events submenu under the Trainings menu. Figure 10: Training Events Page (Table View) By default, it displays the list of trainings for the current year. But it can be changed by selecting another value for the year. In the table, only certain information on the trainings is displayed: date, module, venue, seats available, trainer, training status and HRDF status. 11 View Training Details To view complete information on the training, click More Details button, a popup window will appear as shown below. 12 Download Training Details Training details can be downloaded in PDF format. To do so, click Download PDF button. 13 Register for Training Registration for training is done by submitting online registration form. However user needs to log into the system before filling out the registration form. Otherwise, a notification message will be displayed as shown below. To register click Register Now button. Figure 13: Training Registration Form Follow these steps to fill out the form: 1. Select a Registration Type a. Refresher: for all participants without Welcome Letter Reference No. b. Complimentary: only for participants with valid Welcome Letter Reference No and unused complimentary seats. User need to provide valid Welcome Letter Reference No. Figure 14: Welcome Letter Reference No Field 2. Add participant(s) a. Click on Add New Participant button b. Fill in Participants Name, Contact No and Designation Notes: - Fees will be calculated automatically by the system - Number of complimentary seats depends on the product - Maximum number of participants that can be added depends on number of seats available - Participant(s) can be removed by clicking the delete button at the end of each row Page 12 of 22
Figure 15: Sample of Filled Registration Form 3. Click on the correct icon for security verification 4. Tick Terms and Conditions agreement checkbox 5. Click on Submit Registration button 14 Acknowledgement of Training Request Upon successful submission of the training request form, an e-mail will be sent to the registered e-mail address. Please keep this e-mail as a confirmation of your training session. A reminder will be issued three days before the training and the final reminder will be issued one day before the training. 15 View Training Venue All the training venues have been plotted on Google Map. To view the location where the training will be held, click View Map button. A popup displaying Google Map zoomed to the venue will appear. Page 13 of 22
Figure 16: Training Venue's Map 16 Calendar View Training Events page can be displayed in two formats: Table View and Calendar View. By default, it is displayed in Table View format. 17 Training Request for Non Scheduled Training Request for non schedule training is done by submitting online request form. To access the Training Request s page, click Training Request submenu under the Trainings menu. However user needs to log into the system before filling out the request form. Otherwise, a notification message will be displayed as shown below. Figure 20: Request Notification If the user is logged into system, request form will be displayed. 19 Confirmation of Training session Once a suitable training session has been scheduled as per your request, an e-mail notification will be sent to the registered e-mail address. Please click Accept or Decline button to indicate your training needs. You will receive a notification message for either accepting or rejecting the invitation. If you have rejected the invitation, you will need to resubmit the Training Request Form in order to request for training. Page 19 of 22
20 Our Trainers Click Our Trainers menu button to view the page. Trainers photo is displayed on the right of the page. Figure 25: Our Trainers Page To see more details on the trainer, click Trainer s photo. A pop-up window displaying detailed information on the trainer will appear. Figure 26: Trainer's Details Pop-up Window 21 Contact Us All visitors can send message or any inquiry to the Dagang Net s Training Unit via this system by filling out and submitting the enquiry form. To view the enquiry form, click on the Enquiry Form submenu under the Contact Us menu. Figure 27: Enquiry Form 22 Sitemap A sitemap page has been created to show the structure of the system.
