OUTDOOR CLUB OF SOUTH JERSEY MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES MINUTES OF 10 DECEMBER 2009 NUMBER 12 MEETING PRESENT: Chuck Cooke, Jack Dalton, Eileen Greve, Fran Horn, Janet Horton, Toni Novak Millie Moore, Tom Neigel, Kathleen Pearce, Frank Pearce, Jean Stelmaszyk, Ray Wittkop. ABSENT: Peppy Bath, Tony Marchionne, Peggy Marter, Bruce Steidel. MINUTES: The minutes of the November 12 th meeting were accepted on a motion made by Millie Moore, seconded by Frank Pearce. Thanks to Ray Wittkop for the work he did on the Awards Dinner, which was excellent. 2. Thanks to Chuck and Cindy Cooke, for all the work they did on the Holiday Party. Everyone had a wonderful time. 3. Thanks to Millie Moore for getting the DJ. He did a great job. A number of the trips are filled. OLD BUSINESS: 1. Kathleen is looking for a location for the American Red Cross training she is offering to the club. has 2. $238 has been donated towards the plaque for Joe Trujillo. Chris Denneler volunteered to send out Thank You notes. 3. The Holiday Party collected $1205. NEW BUSINESS: for the and will 1. Next years Holiday Party - Frank Pearce made a motion to place a deposit Hall $150 and $80 for the DJ. Millie Moore seconded the motion. Motion passed. The Holiday party will be held on Sat. Dec. 4 th 2010. Chuck Cooke will do the paper work and contact both the hall and the DJ. 2. Fran Katella reported that the Washington DC Trip is scheduled for May 1 st will cost $30. 3. Fran Katella reported the Alaska Cruise has 6 people interested and their be a meeting on Jan. 5 at the Mt. Laurel Library. 4. Fran Horn asked for approval to renew our PPA membership. Toni Novak

seconded. Motion passed. 5. Jim Bodner will be leading the Cape May Trip. Fran Horn will be the coleader. may April Trip will take place, June, 11 th, 12 th & 13 th. 6. The Chalfonte has asked for a $2,000 deposit for the Cape May trip. Trip be cancelled 2 months prior to the trip date. Discussion followed. Fran Horn made a motion to advance $1,000 on March 11 and $1,000 on 4 th. Chuck Cooke seconded. Motion passed. 7. Fran Horn make a motion to have the Club advance $2000 for the Craftsbury Ski trip. Payment made by Jan. 15 th 2010. Craftsbury ski trip is to be held12/27/10 thru 1/1/11. Millie Moore seconded. Motion passed. ADJOURMENT: 8. Tom Neigle requested that incident reports should be filled out and to please get this information out to all the leaders. Incident reports will be discussed at the next meeting.
