Believe in Allâh, and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and the Bk (the Qur an), which He has sent dwn t His Messenger, and the Scripture, which He sent dwn t thse befre (him), and whsever disbelieves in Allâh, His Angels, His Bks, His Messengers, and the Last Day, then indeed he has strayed far away. In light f all that tk place nt t lng ag in Libya, many peple ask why are Muslims s attached t Muhammad SAS and we say t them: 1. Lve fr him is Faith and faith is nt just feelings in the heart but as Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaa ah schlars explain that: faith is what the hearts believe Believe in ur hearts that he is the final Messenger f Allah SWT. Believe in ur hearts that he is the best example t fllw what the tngues say send Salaams t him hnr him say wrds f respect speak abut him defend wh makes mckery f him
What the limbs establish. Fllw his Sunnah Read his Seerah Defend his hnr, integrity In a Hadith Raslullah (SAS) said: "ف و ال ذ ي ن ف س ي ب ي د ه لا ي و م ن أ ح د ك م ح تى أ ك ون أ ح ب إ ل ي ه م ن و ال د ه و و ل د ه " "Nne f yu becmes a believer until I am dearer t him than his children, his parents and all mankind." (as reprted by Bukhari and Muslim) Sme versins add: "his life, his wealth and his family". In anther Hadith: ح تى ي ك و ن أح د ك م ن لا ي و م ي ب ه ت ه و اه ت ب عا ل ما ج Nne f yu truly believes until his desires are in accrdance with what I have brught. And whatever he brught is revelatin frm Allah SWT as Allah SWT says (5) ي وح ى و ح ي إ لا ه و إ ن (4) اله و ى ع ن ي نط ق و م ا (3) غ و ى و م ا ص اح ب ك م ض ل م ا (2) ه و ى إ ذ ا و الن ج م By the star when it ges dwn, (r vanishes). Yur cmpanin (Muhammad SAW) has neither gne astray nr has erred. Nr des he speak f (his wn) desire. It is nly an Inspiratin that is inspired. 2. This lve is nt based n dgmas and emtins but emanates frm the fact that the missin he came it was wrthwhile fr ur lve: ل ق د م ن الل ه ع ل ى ال م و م ن ين إ ذ ب ع ث ف يه م ر س ولا م ن أ ن ف س ه م ي ت ل وا ع ل ي ه م آي ات ه و ي ز كيه م و ي ع ل م ه م ال ك ت اب و الح ك م ة و إ ن ك ان وا م ن ق ب ل ل ف ي ض لال م ب ين Indeed Allâh cnferred a great favr n the believers when He sent amng them a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) frm amng themselves reciting unt them His Verses (the Qur an), and purifying them (frm sins by their fllwing him), and
instructing them (in) the Bk (the Qur'ân) and AlHikmah [the wisdm and the Sunnah f the Prphet SAW etc.)], while befre that they had been in manifest errr. S withut this guidance we wuld have been in manifest errr, wrshipping ther than the One True Gd; Allah SWT. 3. Fllwing the Sunnah f Raslullah (SAS) leads t Paradise and t the Lve f Allah SWT. ق ل إ ن ك نت م تح ب ون الل ه ف ات ب ع وني يح ب ب ك م الل ه و ي غ ف ر ل ك م ذ ن وب ك م و الل ه غ ف ور رح ي م Say (O Muhammad SAW t mankind): "If yu (really) lve Allâh then fllw, Allâh will lve yu and frgive yu f yur sins. And Allâh is Oft-Frgiving, Mst Merciful." و م ن ي ط ع الل ه و ر س ول ه ف ق د ف از ف و ز ا ع ظ يم ا And whsever beys Allâh and His Messenger (SAW) he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved frm the Hell-fire and made t enter Paradise) And bey Allâh and the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) that yu may btain mercy و أ ط يع وا الل ه و ال رس ول ل ع ل ك م ت ر حم ون. في ل ق د ك ان ل ك م 4. His example is the best sent fr mankind ر س ول الل ه أ س و ة ح س ن ة ل م ن ك ان ي ر ج و الل ه و ال ي و م الا خ ر و ذ ك ر الل ه ك ث ير ا Indeed in the Messenger f Allâh (Muhammad SAW) yu have a gd example t fllw fr him wh hpes in (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day and remembers Allâh much. His example is the best with regards t: Selflessness Sincerity Hnesty and truthfulness
Simplicity Genersity Nbility Frethught Lve fr humanity As a cmmander و م ا أ ر س ل ن ا ك إ لا ر حم ة ل ل ع ال م ين As a mercy t humanity We have nt sent yu (O Prphet) but as rahmah t all the wrlds. (Al-Qur'an 21:107) His was the best example fr justice Rle as a family man Care and cncern fr rphans The needy, wayfarer, the indigent Lve fr the slaves and the dwntrdden Kindness t animals T the envirnment Cncern fr thse wh may be weak amng his fllwers. He brught equality t human beings And gave wmen dignity and status He taught us hw t live life in this wrld and hw t utilize it fr The Hereafter. We lve him fr the changes he has brught abut in ur lives and has given us a clear path t ur destinatin We lve him fr his struggles On the aspects f his struggles and his bigraphy (Seerah) we cme t understand many verses f the Qur an. When he had tld him t cnsider what he was saying, and the man declared three times, "I swear by Allah that I lve yu," he replied, "If yu are speaking the truth, prepare a cmplete armr fr pverty, fr pverty certainly cmes quicker t thse wh lve me than a fld des t its destinatin."
