If this is a financial burden talk to the Athletic Director or the head coach. The team suit and cap is for meets only. Your swimmer will need their own practice suit, cap, and goggles. We highly recommend a polyester blend suit for practice. It will last longer in the pool water. After each practice/meet, you should rinse out your suit in cold water to help it last longer. SWIM MEETS Swim meets are required to participate on your school team. Be behind your lane one race prior to your event. You will be respectful and polite to all coaches, officials, starters, and timers. If you are disqualified by an official be respectful. Good sportsmanship is number one. Leaving a meet early is NOT ACCEPTABLE. We swim as a team. If you can t attend a meet speak w/your coaches early, a good example for missing a meet would be to take the ACT/SAT test. Don t be late; the bus won t wait for you. Out of town meets: The buses ALWAYS leave the south parking lot (closest to the back of the gym) at Sentinel High School.
