HOW DOES RCI FIT IN? As an RCI Subscribing Member, you now have access to exchange vacations through RCI, which is affi liated with more than 4,000 resorts in more than 100 countries around the world. Our members are also entitled to a host of other travelrelated benefi ts and services offered at special member-only prices. RCI does not build or operate resort properties, but resorts may affi liate with RCI and owners at those resorts can become RCI Subscribing Members. To help you better understand your relationships with the resorts and with RCI, now that you are an RCI Subscribing Member, here s a brief overview of the services and benefi ts provided: RCI SUBSCRIBING MEMBERSHIP Exchange Vacations Extra Vacations SM Getaways Access to Vacation Guides Access to RCI.com Guest Certifi cates RCI Directory of Affi liated Resorts RCI Cruise Vacations Endless Vacation Magazine and Other Benefi ts and Services Remember: It is your responsibility to ensure maintenance and all-inclusive fees, where applicable, are paid to the resort, not to RCI. Your resort maintenance fee must be current when exchanging your vacation time through RCI. 03

MEMBER BENEFITS EXCHANGE VACATIONS Deposit the vacation time you own with RCI and then exchange it for a vacation at another available resort. If you can t immediately fi nd the vacation you re looking for, you can start an ongoing search and let RCI search on your behalf or consider using your other RCI Subscribing Member benefi ts to get you where you want to go. EXTRA VACATIONS SM GETAWAYS Extra Vacations SM Getaways offers you greater fl exibility in booking a vacation at resorts, condos, cottages and villas around the world. Most accommodations include the comforts you ve come to expect at a typical resort, such as a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, living room, dining area, balcony or terrace and other amenities. You get more amenities and better value, without the need to use your deposited week. GUEST CERTIFICATES Maximize your membership by sharing your passion for travel with family and friends by purchasing an RCI Guest Certifi cate. RESORT RENTALS RCI has sourced a large selection of rental accommodation for members use at up to 50% off published rate. HOW TO EXCHANGE EXCHANGE VACATIONS 1. DEPOSIT YOUR WEEK As soon as you know you want to try a new destination for your next vacation, deposit your week. You can deposit your week up to 2 years in advance of its start date or as late as 1 month before the start date. Depositing your week as soon as possible generally gives you more options and more time to plan. Even if you re not sure exactly what you d like to do or where you might like to go, 2 Years Before 1 Month Before When you can deposit your week Start date of the week you want to deposit 06

deposit your week. Your travel window could give you up to three years to take your vacation(s). 2. SEARCH FOR YOUR VACATION 1 Nov 2011 1 Oct 2013 When you can deposit your week Your week starts on 1 Nov 2013 3. EXPLORE YOUR OPTIONS With your week deposited, now consider the vacation experience you want. Focusing on the experience fi rst rather than a specifi c destination or resort will afford you many more options. Use the RCI Directory of Affi liated Resorts and RCI.com to gather information on all affi liated resorts and possible destinations. Online at RCI.com, you ll fi nd additional details, pictures and member reviews of resorts you may be interested in. 4. LET RCI DO THE WORK FOR YOU When you know the type of vacation you want, an RCI Vacation Guide or the enhanced search features on RCI.com can help you fi nd an available resort that will offer you the vacation experience you d like to enjoy. Sometimes, a match for your request is available immediately. If not, we will start a convenient, personalized search for the vacation you want. Your request will consider newly deposited weeks as they become available every day. Once you initiate a search, your work is done. There s no need for you to check on the status of your request; we will contact you as soon as match is found. 5. CONFIRM YOUR EXCHANGE, THEN ENJOY YOUR VACATION Once we have found a vacation to match your search, you ll exchange your deposited week either online or with a Vacation Guide to close your search and complete your exchange. If you are signed up to receive online notifi cations, you ll receive an email confi rmation from us, verifying the resort and your check-in date. HOW TO EXCHANGE 07

WEEKS ENHANCEMENT RCI WEEKS ENHANCEMENT The new enhancements will give you more control over your vacation planning experience. In addition to the opportunity to exchange your vacation time for another vacation week, you will also have the fl exibility to... KNOW THE DEPOSIT TRADING POWER OF YOUR WEEK: RCI members often wonder how RCI determines what exchange vacations their deposits will be able to trade into. Now, you ll be able to see the trading power value of your deposited week. Your trading power changes based on when you deposit, and after depositing, you ll be able to see how your deposit s trading power compares to the trading power of all available exchange vacations. SEE ALL AVAILABLE INVENTORY: When searching for an exchange, you ll be able to choose to see only the inventory that is equal to or less than the trading power value of your deposited week or all available weeks in the system. By choosing to see all available inventory, you ll even be able to see exchange vacations that require more trading power than that of your available deposits. 08

WEEKS ENHANCEMENT GET MORE VACATION OPTIONS WITH DEPOSIT CREDITS: Upon exchanging your vacation time, you ll receive a Deposit Credit for any remaining Deposit Trading Power. That means if you trade down for an exchange vacation with lower trading power than what your Deposit has, you ll receive a Deposit Credit, for the difference between the Deposit Trading Power and Exchange Trading Power, posted to your account to use by the travel through date of the original Deposit. You can use this credit in two ways: Your Deposit s Trading Power Your Vacation s Exchange Trading Power Your Deposit Credit 20 15 5 10

EXCHANGE IT FOR ANOTHER VACATION: You can use your Deposit Credit to book a second vacation of equal or lesser value than the credit. So essentially, you can get two vacations using one week! COMBINE IT WITH ANOTHER DEPOSIT: You can combine your Deposit Credit with another week that you have deposited to increase the trading power of that deposit. With higher Deposit Trading Power, you can trade up into an Exchange vacation requiring more trading power than that of your original Deposit, giving you more Exchange options than you had before!
