timeless solution responding to its surroundings while representing a progressive modern healthcare environment at the heart of Jacksonville, FL. A palette of materials respond to both the precision and technological side of modern medicine in conjunction with influences from the surrounding neighborhood of San Marco. These include metal panel, limestone, terracotta rain screen panels, large format precast panels and glazing. An abstract interpretation of St John s River, which provides a backdrop to the Cancer Center providing incredible views to patients receiving infusion, is displayed in the tapered metal panel frame walls at the tower and precast panels around the building. The massing and proportions of the building are intended to provide a striking building form from the interstate and city center, while subtly stepping away from the neighborhood streets and dropping down in scale to blend with the neighborhood. Daylighting is embraced throughout the building design via extensive glazing promoting a link to the outdoors and reinforcing the importance of healthy building and healthy living. Reinforcing Baptist s commitment to community the perimeter of the building is intentionally pulled back from the street and carved away to provide opportunities for parks and extensive landscaping. Furthering Baptist s belief in providing an all-inclusive healing environment the installation of both public and private art is to become an integral part of the building. There will be four opportunities for sculptural art features on site all of which are intended to both respond to the function and design of the building while presenting their own unique image reflective of their respective creators. Detailed Site Descriptions: Location 1, Building Entrance: At the main entrance drive to the Cancer Center a landscape island will accommodate a sculptural art piece(s) that will become part of the entry experience aligned with the front door to the building. The piece(s) should allow for a level of transparency or negative space so the lobby and courtyard beyond can be viewed on approach to the building. Size and scale should complement the building massing and entry sequence from street to building. Delivered purchase price of completed sculpture(s) for this location - up to $50,000 Location 2, Side of Building Visible from Lobby: A more private location at the south end of the cancer center lobby as part of a private viewing garden. A sculptural art piece(s) will serve as a visual element to provide a processional view from the lobby out to the garden, across the green space and beyond to the tree-lined backdrop. The piece(s) will be a part of the patient and visitor experience serving those waiting for treatment or family members waiting on loved ones receiving radiation oncology services. Size and scale should complement the scale of the garden space it sits within. Delivered purchase price of completed sculpture(s) for this location - up to $50,000 Page 3

Location 3, Building Courtyard: At the heart of the Cancer Center is an open-air courtyard that is wrapped by the building. Providing a more private shaded space with a mixture of soft and hardscape including shade trees and an ornamental tree of life representing all levels of cancer, the space is intended to allow for outdoor access in a calming and peaceful environment. A sculptural art piece(s) is to be located in the courtyard contributing to the overall atmosphere of the space. For reference the adjacent building materials are punched glass openings with deep metal frames, curtain wall and limestone walls. Delivered purchase price of completed sculpture(s) for this location - up to $50,000 Location 4, Corner Park on Building Campus: Is an opportunity to provide a sculptural piece(s) to integrate with the community park Baptist Health has created at the southeast corner of the site. This park marks the gateway into the San Marco Neighborhood and is intended to provide an opportunity for community gatherings, a place to eat lunch, bring families to enjoy the water-wall, shade from surrounding trees and access to nearby restaurants and shopping. The intent for the art piece is that it be an integral part of the park allowing visitors to move around it and be drawn into the space rather than be static and disconnected. The piece(s) should be made of a material that responds to the architectural palette beyond and should be of a human scale that invites investigation and interaction at the ground plane. Delivered purchase price of completed sculpture(s) for this location - up to $100,000 Budget: The purchase prices listed must cover all associated costs of the project, including but not limited to, design, fabrication, materials, labor, transportation, insurance and installation of the sculptural art feature(s). Site preparation, lighting and footing will be provided by Baptist Health.
