Introduction Welcome to Design Center RE/MAX Design Center is an online marketing tool provided to all U.S. RE/MAX Broker/Owners and Associates at no additional cost. Design Center is also offered internationally please consult with your region for additional details. Design Center offers more than 2,000 professionally designed templates, over 700 of which are RE/MAX branded, with additional templates added regularly. With RE/MAX Design Center professional marketing pieces can be created quick and easily. Create: Tri-fold Brochures Flyers Property Cards Post Cards Virtual Tours Web Commercials Electronic Greeting Cards QR Code Postcards and Flyers ipad Listing Presentations And More! Once completed, materials can be printed via personal printer, sent directly to a professional printer, emailed to clients and prospects, posted on a website or sent to Facebook or Twitter. All materials are fully compliant with RE/MAX trademarks and graphics standards. Multimedia projects such as Virtual Tours, Slideshow Tours, and Express Vignettes can be hosted in an IDX compliant format for posting to your MLS. Design Center Training Guide Page 1 of 21

Accessing Accessing Design Center 1 Log-in to Mainstreet at www.remax.net. Enter your username and password. Select Log In. 2 Select My Designs on the RE/MAX Mainstreet home page. Design Center Training Guide Page 2 of 21

Home Page Overview You will be directed to the Design Center Home Page each time you log in. The Home Page grants you access to your Design Center Profile, a quick link to create projects, and a support section that can answer all of your Design Center questions. Navigating Design Center Navigating through Design Center is easy. Click on one of the tabs at the top of the screen to begin. Projects All previously created projects are stored here. Designs Access to all projects offered by Design Center. Campaigns Drip campaigns that can be used for constant communication to your clients. Contacts Store up to 5,000 contacts in Design Center and email them directly. For your personal Design Center profile, refer to page 4. Design Center Training Guide Page 3 of 21

Profile Enhancing Your Profile Your Design Center profile will be a time saver for you. It allows you to verify and enter your contact information and photo, and to select an official RE/MAX logo. Thatwill automatically appear on all projects you create. The Design Center profile is independent from your Mainstreet profile and will only be seen on Design Center projects. 1 Select the drop down arrow by your name and click Profile. Profile Enhancing Your Profile Option Profile Tab Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. All information entered will automatically be included on each project. Select Click to Upload to browse for your photo. Click Save when finished. HINT: Be sure to enter your web address as this is not a pre-populated field. Business Info Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. All information entered will automatically be included on each project. Select Choose from Library to choose an official RE/MAX logo. Postal Indicia, also knows as postal permit imprints, are imprinted designations on mail that denotes prepayment. Postal Indicia are printed in the upper right hand corner of a mail out and can only be issued by the U.S. Postal Service. For more information visit www.usps.com or visit your local post office. Designs Design Gallery The Design Gallery is a library where all print and multimedia templates can be found. Find the perfect template for you by selecting the type of project you wish to create or searching the Design Gallery by keywords. There are multiple avenues to search by to locate the project that is right for you. Product: Navigate through folder types. To return to the previous page click Cancel. 4 Select the type of project you would like to create. Please note you can sort by product, task or occasion. You can narrow your search by using the available search options. Hint: When previewing a project, text is displayed in Lorem Ipsum filler text allowing you to focus on the design. Creating A Project Print Marketing 5 Enter the following information and hit Save and Continue. Project Name When posting your projects to Facebook and Twitter the project name is displayed on your Facebook Post and Tweet. Project Folder The project folder is where the project will be stored. 6 Select Add New Photos to upload your images. The Photo Library allows you to store, organize, and access your photos at any time. With the Photo Library, you can upload multiple photos at once and reuse the photos in future projects. Creating Projects Print Marketing 7 Click Select File(s) to Upload. 8 Select the photos you would like to upload. Click Open. Click the Control key to select non-consecutive images and the Shift key for consecutive images. Or press Control+A to select all images in a folder. All uploaded images are stored in the Photo Library and can be used in all projects throughout Design Center. 10 Once all images have been placed and cropped, click Save and Continue. Important Notice: When placing images in a placeholder you might see a caution symbol in the upper right hand corner of the image indicating it needs to be cropped. To crop, hover over the image and select the crop icon. Design Center Training Guide Page 11 of 21

Text can be entered manually, copied and pasted from another source such as your MLS, or selected from over 800 pre-written phrases found in the Phrase Assistant. To launch the Phrase Assistant, place the cursor the text field you choose to work with and select the Phrase Assistant button. For further information on utilizing the Phrase Assistant please refer to page 21. 12 Once all text has been entered, click Save and Continue. Modifying this page does not change your Design Center profile. To update your profile please refer to page 4. A co-agent can be added to the Secondary Agent Name field. Project Overview Sharing A Project Option Preview Preview your finished project. Adobe Acrobat 5.0 or greater is required to preview a print project. Edit To modify your project click edit and hit Save and Continue. Duplicate Create a duplicate of your project. The duplicate will be stored in the folder as the original. Why would you duplicate? For example, if you create a Just Listed flyer and sell the property, you can hit Duplicate and change the title to Just Sold, without having to create a new project. Project Overview Sharing A Project Option Delete Delete projects that are no longer needed. Important Reminder: Once a project is deleted it cannot be retrieved. Print Options Print It Yourself Download and convert your finished project to a PDF for printing at your home or office. Professional Printers Save time and money print your project professionally by selecting one of our integrated professional printers. Printers will vary based on region. Select the logo of the printer you wish to work with to get started. Download PDF Standard PDF Download a high quality PDF to print from home, the office, or to send to a professional printer. Commercial PDF Download and convert to a high quality PDF and specifically request to include crop mark and bleeds. Project Overview Sharing A Project Option Publish To Web Your final project can be published as an image or a web page for viewing on the internet or sharing via email. For more information, please refer to Page 18 (Hosting a Multimedia Project). Email to Contacts Self Send Create a professional looking email that will be sent directly to you to forward to the clients of your choice. The best part is unlimited usage at no charge! Premium Email - $199/year Create a professional looking email and send directly to the clients of your choice by using the contacts feature. Up to 1,000 emails per month are free. After that, it is just $0.03 per email. If you choose this feature, remember to add funds to your account via Account Balance in your Design Center account. In addition, you have the capability to schedule future emails, track email history, view open rates and more! Share on Social Media Facebook Share your final project with your friends, family, and clients via your Facebook Timeline (personal page) or your Facebook Business Page. Twitter Tweet your latest project to all of your followers on Twitter. Design Center Training Guide Page 17 of 21

Hosting Multimedia Overview Now that you have designed a multimedia marketing piece, you are ready to show it off! Hosting allows you to take your multimedia project and share it on your personal website, Facebook, Twitter, or your MLS. The term hosting can be defined as a location to store data. When you host a project in the Design Center, your projects are hosted on the Imprev Hosting Server and are given a unique URL or web address. Hosting a project in Design Center is easy and can be accomplished in a few short steps. Option Publish To Web Select Publish to Web. Choose from one of the following options. Link A URL is created specifically for your project. Copy and past the link to an email, blog, tweet, Facebook status or Craigslist Ad. Text Link Copy and paste this HTML code to the HTML source of your personal website, Craigslist, or blog. Embed Copy and paste this HTML code to the HTML source of your personal website. Embedding plays the video directly on your webpage, versus providing a clickable link to the project. Publish Unbranded Design Center will easily take the branded project you have created and remove the RE/MAX branding on your agent profile. This option is perfect if you choose to share your project with the listing on your MLS. Select Publish Unbranded and you will be provided with the same options as the Publish to Web feature, only no branding will be provided on the project. Please refer to Publish to Web for a description of output options. Publish to Realtor.com Post multimedia projects directly to your listings on Realtor.com. There is no charge to post projects to Showcase listings; however, there is a charge to post to standard non-showcase listings. Design Center Training Guide Page 18 of 21

Hosting Multimedia View Stats While hosting a project and displaying it to the public is important, Design Center also offers a reporting feature that allows you to monitor how many views your project receives. Information about who has viewed your project, when and where they saw it could help you determine where to market your projects. This report is the perfect way to show sellers how you are marketing their property and the amount of traffic and possible interest being generated. Simply host your project and follow these easy steps to generate your report. 1 From the project overview page, select Links & Tools. Click on the Graph icon to generate the report. Hosting Multimedia View Stats 2 Multiple pages exist in this report. Select the drop down arrow to navigate to each page. The pages are as follows: Overview Tells how many people have viewed your project. Total Unique Visitors is separated out. A unique visitor refers to the first time a viewer opens your project. All returning visits are included in Total Page views. Daily Traffic View traffic by day for the previous week, month, year, or the life of the project. Hourly Traffic To identify on when people are most likely to view your project. Referrers - Find out how viewers were able to find your project. For example, if you post your project on Facebook and your website, Design Center will show traffic for each location or referrer. Location With the power of social media and the internet, people all of the world can easily view your projects. See how many people from different cities are viewing your project. Phrase Assistant Overview The Phrase Assistant allows you to quickly add content to your projects by selecting from over 800 previously written phrases in Design Center. Quickly add headlines, highlights, remarks, newsletter articles on certain projects, and more. To get started with the Phrase Assistant, follow the steps below. 1 To enter text using the Phrase Assistant, select the Phrase Assistant icon. 2 The Phrase Assistant is organized through the Source section. Your Phrases Provides quick access to all previously used phrases and manually entered text. Stock Phrases Select from hundreds of pre-written phrases. RE/MAX Phrases Select from 19 RE/MAX National Advertising Slogans such as Above the Crowd, Outstanding Agents, Outstanding Results and more. Articles Quickly add content to newsletters and select from over 200 pre-written articles from a wide variety of subjects. Design Center Training Guide Page 21 of 21
