Year 11 Summer 2016 Exam and Revision Timetable
INSTRUCTIONS This examination timetable covers all GCSE exams in the period 16 th May to 21 st June as well as the revision support scheduled from Easter to the exam period. You are reminded that you do not stand down from Year 11 until your final examination. Until this time, you are expected to attend all sessions provided. The aim of these sessions is to ensure you are ready for your examinations and have the best chance of achieving your potential. Sessions will be before, during and after school, as well as some sessions at the weekend and those provided by staff during the half term holiday. Please note: Period 0: 8:00am 8:45am Period 7: 2:30pm 3:20pm Period 8: 3:20pm 4:10pm From Monday 16 th May until the half termbreak, you are also expected to attend normal lessons when you are not in an examination or an organised revision session. After half term you will only attend the revision sessions and exams that you are involved in and will be permitted to study at home at all other times. The sessions are colour coded using the colours in this table: HISTORY HISTORY Revision session prior to the examination. A pre examination session. HISTORY GCSE examination Period 0 Period 1 SPANISH SPANISH lessons HISTORY Weekend or holiday revision session. When there is more than one column on a day, the first column takes priority. For example, for the day on the left, if you have Spanish you go to period 0 otherwise you do not have a period 0. Then Period 1 and 2 you would go to Spanish exam. Students who do not study Spanish will be in normal lessons. During Period 3 you will be in normal lessons unless you study PE, in which case you will go to a pre examination revision session. Period 2 SPANISH lessons Please ensure you are fully aware of all the sessions you need to attend. If there are any questions please see Mrs Carter or Mr Penman. Your subject teachers will also be aware of the schedule for their subjects.
