Proposals of the Ministry of Education of the Moscow region to integrate standardization in educational programs of higher education 1. It is necessary to include the basics of standardization discipline in humanities educational programs of higher education in institutions of higher professional education in Moscow region. 2. We consider including the standardization disciplines into educational standards at the level of bachelor. 3. Ministry of Education of Moscow region will recommend the educational institutions of higher professional education in Moscow region to assign professional competencies in the area of standardization in functional fields corresponding to the field of study and program of the variable part of the university educational standards.

Proposals of the Ministry of Education of the Moscow region to integrate standardization in educational programs of higher education 4. The implementation of the standardization to educational programs in educational institutions of higher professional education in Moscow region should start with a pilot project of including basics of standardization discipline in the Faculty of Economics in MSRU. 5. Establish a regional center for research, audit and evaluation of the education quality in Moscow region as an effective tool of standardization, improvement and evaluation of the quality of education.

History of MSRU MSRU was founded in 1931 as Moscow Regional Pedagogical Institute in the name of N.K. Krupskaya; In 1991 the Institute was renamed as Moscow Pedagogical University; In 2002 Moscow Pedagogical University was renamed as Moscow State Regional University and became a classical university which prepares not only secondary school teachers but also scientists and specialists of various fields.

Education in MSRU MSRU offers full-time, part-time (evening courses) Level fields of study: - Bachelor 48profile, -Master programs 30, -At present training of postgraduate and research students in 51 specialties is realized at 58 departments of MSRU. - Doctorate 19 specialties

International collaboration of MSRU MSRU realizes scientific and academic collaboration and student exchange programmes with universities of China, Germany and DAAD, Burgundian university of Dijon (France), Charles University of Prague (Czech Republic), National Board of Education Finland, participate in TEMPUS EC projects, organizes practical training courses abroad for students and Russian language courses for foreign students as well.
