* We ll film a one minute commercial for you at your site or in our studio, give you a copy, and air it daily on our channels from May through December Sponsors may donate cash, gift certificates, services or items ********************************************************************************************** ****************** Dear Potential Sponsor, Each May, the Swampscott High School TV Production students produce a four night Cable TV auction. It s our main fundraiser, a great learning experience for the students and our most watched event of the year, as hundreds of viewers phone in their bids on items shown to them by students, teachers and local celebrities serving as co hosts. We hope you ll consider being a sponsor of this year s auction. It will run from May 26th to May 29th on Comcast Channel 15 (in Swampscott) and Verizon Channel 40 (in Swampscott, Lynn and Nahant). All donations support the students TV Production program and earn you publicity during the auction and for six months afterwards. To become a sponsor, please fax or mail us the attached form or give it to a TV student. You can send in your check or item now, or we ll pick it up later at your convenience. 8b) If the value of your donation is $150 or higher, we will contact you about creating a one minute commercial for your business that we ll air from May through December (if we ve previously made one, we ll call you to see if you d like us to re run it this year) Items above $150 receive the most publicity, but since this is a four night auction, donating multiple items also increases publicity (minimum value of $25 per item). Estimated value should reflect lowest available price with all current sales. We accept used items in excellent condition. Items should not require expenditures offer cash value gift certificates rather than half off certificates. Receipts sent next January for all donations. We will accept donations up through (5/29/15) but appreciate receiving them as early as possible. Thank you.
