Introduction IP-Only provides colocation services for customers with very high reliability and availability requirements. In combination with its transmission and IP services, IP-Only offers space in high-security data centers and transmission nodes at different locations in IP-Only s network. A unique data center is located in a former underground military facility south of Stockholm. The other data centers are located in central and northern Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Oslo. IP-Only s data centers offer a high level of security and are equipped with intrusion protection, fire protection, UPS, backup power and climate control systems. IP-Only s Network Operations Center (NOC) monitors the data centers round-the-clock, seven days a week. All connections to IP-Only s fiber network and to other national and local fiber networks are redundant and run along separate physical paths into the data centers. Altogether, this means that all IP-Only data centers offer a very high level of reliability in the event of a power cut, cable rupture, intrusion attempt or sabotage. Structure of the service Security IP-Only s data centers are designed to withstand intrusion attempts, sabotage, fire, etc. The facilities are CCTV-monitored and have alarm systems with perimeter and volumetric alarms. Some of IP-Only s data centers offer an extreme level of physical protection in facilities that are either bomb-proof or housed in bomb-proof underground sites with 24/7 security guards. Physical environment The facilities cooling and climate systems control the temperature and humidity through precision cooling systems in the data centers. Reliable power supply for the data centers is provided through backup power and UPS systems to ensure continuous operation during power cuts in the electricity grid. The data centers are equipped with fire detection systems and most have automatic fire extinguishing systems (Inergen/Argonite). The fire department is alerted automatically in the event of an incident. Access control All facilities are monitored centrally by IP-Only s NOC, which is staffed round-the-clock, seven days a week. All customers have round-the-clock access to their server cabinet unless otherwise separately agreed. Any access to the facilities must always be announced in advance to IP-Only s NOC and comply with IP-Only s instructions for access to the data centers. IP-Only will provide the customer with two access control cards, which are personal. Further access control cards can be provided for an additional fee. If the customer wishes to permit access to a subcontractor to a person who does not have an access control card, this can be arranged by means of remote access by IP-Only s NOC. However, remote access must be notified well in advance of the visit to ensure that IP-Only s NOC is able to carry out the necessary controls of the party concerned. Communication As mentioned, all connections to IP-Only s fiber network and to other national and local fiber networks are redundant and run along separate physical paths into the data centers (diversity). Communication path diversity is also provided within each facility, ensuring redundancy all the way from the backbone to the customer s server cabinet. IP-Only delivers Internet, Ethernet, telephony and other services to the server cabinets in the data centers. Each facility also has fiber links to other operators, enabling them to offer their services to customers in the data centers. A list of which operators are established in each data center is provided in the technical specification for the data center. Colocation 3.1 1 (7)
Colocation services IP-Only provides several variants of its Colocation service to meet the requirements of different customers. The technical specification for each data center shows how the data center is designed. IP-Only s Colocation service is available in the following variants: Colocation Premium: An advanced plug-and-play service offering the highest level of availability for customers requiring high reliability and fast delivery. This service is always provided with A+B power and electricity consumption is always charged on a variable, metered basis. Colocation Basic: A simpler service for customers who do not require the highest possible availability. This service is suitable for customers looking for one or several A power feeds. Electricity consumption is always charged on a variable, metered basis. Colocation Cage: A service where the customer receives an allocated caged space (10 80 m 2 ). The customer is then free to design its own solution within the allocated space. Colocation Telco: A service for operators with a need to place communications equipment in IP-Only s data centers or transmission nodes. Colocation 3.1 2 (7)

This service is always provided with A+B power and electricity consumption is always charged on a variable, metered basis. High availability and redundancy is realised through the use of multiple UPS systems, i.e. A and B UPS systems. With this service customers also have the option of placing their own cabinets in the data center, e.g. for backup robots or larger SAN solutions. Server cabinets The server cabinets in this service have a height of 42U and are adapted for most of the server models available in the market. Two separate power distribution units with C13 outlets (minimum 8 outlets) are fed by two fully separated UPS lines (A+B). The power feed to the cabinet is provided at a level which ensures a good margin for power usage of up to 3kW, which is the maximum permitted power in any individual cabinet. Electricity consumption is measured at the PDUs and invoiced in arrears on a per kwh basis. The meter reads the current load (kw) at five-minute intervals and this information is then transferred to a central billing system, which calculates the number of kwh used over a one-month period. The price per kwh includes the electricity used by UPSs and the central cooling systems which transfer the heat generated by the customer s equipment. Other power feed and power use options for each cabinet can also be offered, if required. Monitoring In Colocation Premium the NOC monitors each individual computer cabinet separately in respect of power consumption. The environment in the data center is monitored in respect of temperature and humidity. Power Grid Diesel Genset UPS A-power UPS B-power Fuses Fuses Customer Rack Colocation 3.1 3 (7)

This service is suitable for customers who only require one or several A power feeds. Electricity consumption is always charged on a variable, metered basis. Server cabinets The server cabinets in this service have a height of 42U and are adapted for most of the server models available in the market. IP-Only also offers server cabinets that are divided into quarters, 10U, measuring 600x440x900 mm. In this service the customer is allocated a part of the cabinet with a separate key, power supply and communications. With this service customers also have the option of placing their own cabinets in the data center, e.g. for backup robots or larger SAN solutions. One PDU with C13 outlets (minimum 8 outlets) fed with A power from the UPS. The power feed to the cabinet is provided at a level which ensures a good margin for power usage of up to 3kW, which is the maximum permitted power in any individual cabinet. Electricity consumption is measured at the PDU and invoiced in arrears on a per kwh basis. The meter reads the current load (kw) at five-minute intervals and this information is then transferred to a central billing system, which calculates the number of kwh used over a one-month period. The price per kwh includes the electricity used by UPSs and the central cooling systems which transfer the heat generated by the customer s equipment. The customer can order multiple power feeds to ensure a higher level of availability, as these have separate fuses. In the quarter cabinet service (10U) only one fuse and one PDU can be installed and maximum power usage is 750W. Electricity consumption is included in the monthly charge for the cabinet. Colocation Cage Colocation Cage is a solution for customers requiring a larger area in IP-Only s data center that they can regard as their own data center. In this case IP-Only will separate an area using mesh walls and provide a separate door to the space which is controlled entirely by the customer. The customer can also decide which type of server cabinets to use. IP-Only will provide power from the UPS to a distribution board inside the cage and install a power meter for billing of electricity on a per use basis. The customer can then design its own electricity installation in the cage while IP-Only will provide a quote for, install and allocate fuses for the server cabinets. Billing model In this service the customer pays a monthly fee per square meters of allocated space. The square meter price includes dimensioning of UPS and cooling for 1 kw per square meter, which is the maximum power available for the space. Upgrading to power supplies in excess of 1 kw per square meter and shall be agreed separately. Electricity consumption is charged monthly in arrears based on actual consumption (electricity meter installed in the data center) and the price per kwh includes the electricity consumed by UPS and central cooling systems to transfer the heat generated by the customer s equipment. Colocation Telco Colocation Telco is a service for customers who want to place their network equipment in a data center while using other services from IP-Only, such as transmission or dark fiber. The typical customer is a telecom operator. Cabinet or space IP-Only offers entire cabinets or quarter cabinets measuring 600x2000x600 mm. If the customer has transmission equipment which is delivered with a rack IP-Only can offer space (600x2100x600 mm) for this in the data center. In this service the customer only has access to the cabinet from the front, as the cabinet must be placed against a wall. In this service the customer specifies the number and size of fuses when placing the order. For most transmission nodes IP-Only offers only -48V DC, as this is the most common type of power supply for telecom equipment. 230V AC can also be offered where this is available. The maximum power is 3 kw per cabinet. Electricity consumption is charged based on a fixed price list and depends on the fuse size. IP-Only will install a power feed for the customer s equipment when the customer has placed the equipment in the cabinet, as the power cable to the equipment generally requires a fixed mount. Service levels SLA IP-Only s colocation service is offered with four different service levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. The service is provided with service level Bronze as standard. The Gold or Platinum service levels can only be provided if the service is delivered with A+B power. A detailed description of the various service levels is provided in the Service Level Agreement. Quality parameters Quality parameter Normal Normal Normal relative Normal temperature deviation humidity deviation All colocation services +22 C ±5 C 50 % ±10 % Temperature and humidity are measured at several points in each data center, and are calculated as an average of the measured values. For services with single power feed (A power) a power failure is regarded an Extensive Fault, counting from the starting point of the power loss. For services with double power feed (A + B power) an Extensive Fault occurs when both power feeds are unavailable. Please note that during loss of only one power feed (A or B) the service is still available and the fault is regarded as a Limited Fault. Deviations from the specified quality parameters that exceed the normal deviation for a consecutive period of 60 minutes, is also regarded as an Extensive Fault. For more details please refer to the Service Level Agreement. Monitoring and maintenance Monitoring IP-Only s NOC monitors the network and facilities round the clock, seven days a week. Entrances and airlocks at the data centers are monitored by CCTV. The footage is recorded and stored centrally. The NOC monitors access to the centers, power supply, temperature, humidity, fires and fuel levels in diesel tanks. IP-Only uses monitoring systems from Emerson as well as security and access control systems provided by Securitas. Regular maintenance Frequency of activity Activity Monthly Quarterly Annually Visual inspection and cleaning. Technical tests of the following systems: - Access - Alarm - Fire detection and extinguishing - Cooling - Cleaning and any clearing of growth that may be required outside the building.
