GPX is not a Telecom Service Provider (Telco), Internet Service Provider (ISP), or a hardware or software provider. Uptime Institute Tier IV Fault Tolerant Architecture The Tier Classification System is an outcome- oriented, performance- based system for benchmarking Data Centre availability. GPX is leading the technology race by being the first to offer an Uptime Institute TierIV design certified Data Centre in Mumbai. No other Data Centre service provider in India can make this claim. Other Data Centre s are either self certified or certified by autonomous bodies that stipulate minimum requirements not as stringent as Uptime's specifications, meaning they may not guarantee measures to provide you % uptime. GPX designs its Data Centre s to be fully automated. Over 80% of Data Centre outages are caused by human error. GPX eliminates this risk by utilizing the most advanced technology that incorporates extensive Programmable Logic Controller s (PLC s). Any failure within the Data Centre, including utility outages, electrical or mechanical equipment failures, or a fire/smoke condition requires no human intervention to rectify. True Carrier Neutrality GPX is not a Telco nor does it resell bandwidth. Our sole and exclusive business is to provide extremely reliable data colocation space. Our model provides customers access to multiple carriers and ISP s already present in our Data Centre, allowing them to choose the most appropriate, efficient, and competitively priced interconnection partners for their business needs. GPX offers our clients the ability to change carriers without moving equipment, and to connect to more than one carrier to achieve redundancy. No other IDC operating in India can make this claim. Telecommunications Infrastructure All Major Telco s and ISP s are already present in the GPX Data Centre with their Fiber and Muxes offering 10+ Gbps bandwidth capabilities. Customers do not need to change their Telco provider when moving into the GPX Data Centre, getting connected straight away without delays. Carrier network redundancy is the highlight of the GPX Data Centre. Each Telco s fiber enters the premises from two physically redundant paths and manholes. From these two manholes, the fiber travels through physically diverse paths and enters the GPX Data Centre from two separate entry points, thus eliminating any single point of failure. All manholes and conduits are owned and managed by GPX.

3 GPX India Data Centre Facility Specifications: Power: The GPX Data Centre is designed to provide a robust power infrastructure with multiple redundancies and no single point of failure. This ensures the highest level of uptime availability to our customers. Utility Power feed: Two different and independent Tata generating stations, one Hydro and the other Thermal, feed two (2) physically diverse Tata Power Receiving Stations. These two (2) Tata Power Receiving Stations feed a dedicated GPX substation located within the premises. Each Tata Power Receiving Station has two (2) dedicated and physically diverse 22KVA feeds to the GPX substation. Any one of these four (4) 22KVA feeds can support the entire load of the GPX Data Centre providing N+3 redundancy. Power Back Up: GPX s Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems are fully redundant with 15 minutes of battery backup. Our UPS prevents power spikes, surges and brownouts ensuring 100% clean power is supplied to our customer s equipment. Four (4) 2250 kw Diesel Generators in a fully redundant configuration. The Generators are continuous run and capable of running 24x7x365. They start in less than 10 seconds and immediately take the full power load of the Data Centre. This is unique within India. The entire electrical system has built- in redundancy and bypass mechanisms to ensure continuous operation. GPX can perform all maintenance and repairs without affecting our customer s power.

4 Power at the racks: Dual power feed to each rack. The GPX electrical architecture has a Static Transfer Switch (STS) at the output of our UPS thereby eliminating the need for a rack level STS and a single point of failure. High power density is available which can support up to 10/12 KVA rated power per rack, providing our customers scalability to support their long- term growth. Power for each rack is monitored 24x7 to avoid over load. Cooling: Physically diverse chilled water piping eliminating any single point of failure. Chiller Quick Restart. Raised floor with ceiling based return plenum. Fully redundant Tier IV mechanical systems (Chillers, Water Supply, Pumps, Valves). Hot aisle/cold aisle design with chimney to return plenum. GPX Mission Critical Fuel Management Systems: GPX has installed a comprehensive and mission critical Fuel Management System, the most sophisticated globally, and India s only installation. The core of the GPX Fuel Management System includes a proven line of industrial products engineered for the maximum amount of redundancy (valves, pumps, controls, PLCs, power supplies, probes, level sensors, etc.) In addition, GPX has two (2) onsite 24,000 litre bulk fuel tanks with physically diverse piping to the generator day tanks. A Unique aspect of GPX s fuel management system is our fuel polisher that rotates and polishes fuel in the main supply tanks once every week. Due to the reliability of the Mumbai power grid, fuel can remain unused for months. Our fuel polisher removes impurities and deposits that occur over time when the fuel is lying unused. This ensures 100% clean fuel when needed to run our generators. No Other Indian Data Centre has this capability.

5 Fire & Water Safety: GPX s Data Centre is constructed with cutting edge fire detection and suppression systems that limit the potential for damage in the event of fire. The key features of our fire detection and suppression system include: All electrical infrastructure (switchboards, UPS, etc.) are separated by two (2) hour fire rated walls. All electrical cabling is physically isolated in metal conduit preventing cross over damage from an overheating cable. Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA). Dual alarmed, heat and smoke rate of rise detection. Multi zoned NOVEC Fire Suppression system, equipment and human friendly. Moisture barriers on exterior walls, waterproofed flooring, expansive drainage system. Water Leakage Detection (WLD) system detects and provides advanced notice of any water leakage. No other Indian Data Centre has these features. Cabling: BMS: Pre wired and tested structured wiring system providing any- to- any connectivity over fiber, copper or coax media. High quality Panduit structured cabling system. All cabling installed aesthetically, so that it s neat and manageable for years. Our engineers utilize our custom designed BMS to monitor all of the GPX equipment within the Data Centre, including electrical, HVAC, security, access, fire and water detection.

6 No Flooding Zone: The GPX Data Centre is located on the Chandivali Farm Road, which is on a hill, 27 meters above sea level and 1 meter above the road level. This area even remained dry and accessible during Mumbai s worst flood on record in July There are multiple ingress and egress access roads to the GPX Data Centre ensuring it is always reachable. Many other Indian Data Centre facilities are located in low- lying flood prone areas. Physical Security: The GPX Data Centre delivers multi- level security to support mission critical operations. GPX's own security staff guards all access and important locations within the DATA CENTRE and building. All entryways and interior doors are monitored and recorded using high- resolution digital video cameras. All internal access points are controlled using access cards and numbered keypads. Visitor identification and access permissions are verified on arrival at two physical locations. GPX provides escort services to customer destinations and for the period while work is being performed.

7 GPX Offerings: Colocation: The GPX Mumbai Data Centre provides high levels of security and optimal operating conditions for our customer s mission critical equipment and applications. All cabinet locations are engineered with direct access to the structured cabling system to allow many interconnections at a variety of bandwidth and speeds. All GPX facilities offer customers staging and secure storage areas. All customer colocation rooms are separated from carrier colocation rooms. Racks & Cabinets: Racks and cabinets are configured with GPX s versatile overhead cable distribution system for copper and fiber cross connects, and under the floor distribution systems for dual AC power distribution. The power delivery system within the facility accommodates multiple, physically diverse (A&B) 16 and 32 amp power drops for each cabinet. Customers can choose the GPX standard rack cabinet configuration or they can have a custom designed cage configuration, provided all elements meet required engineering specifications. The cabinet that GPX offers measures 2000mm (h) X 600mm (w) X 1000mm (d), and is equipped with front and back locking vented doors, power strips, and cable management. Interconnection Services: GPX provides a secure, neutral environment within each Data Centre that facilitates easy, reliable, economical interconnection between all customers, whether they are content providers, local or multinational enterprise, ISP s, or Telco s. The GPX Structured Wiring Interconnect System (SWIS) consists of Category 6 LAN cabling, and single- mode fiber. A structured wiring database system ensures accurate cable and circuit assignment as well as efficient maintenance of the entire IT platform. Pre wired IDF s helps reduce cabling work and enable customers to get started quickly. Telecom Network Access: Telco s are connected to the GPX Data Centre using SDH/DWDM Metro Ethernet rings over redundant fiber infrastructure. Offering customers various services including Internet, point- to- point TMD connectivity, MPLS, and International Private lines among other network services. Bandwidth ranges from E1, DS3, STM1, 100/1000 Mbps and even 10G circuits.

8 Management & Technical Support: A mix of Indian and Expat technical experts, highly trained in Data Centre operations manage the GPX facility. Many of these key personnel have multiple years of experience in managing Data Centre s for multi national financial companies, and other Data Centre providers. Through GPX s Onsite Technical Services (OTS), customers can engage experienced GPX technical personnel to assist with limited network monitoring, diagnosis of problems, and management of repair services on an emergency or scheduled basis. These services are available on a time and materials, or contract basis.
