6 Th INNOVATION CONTEST Innovation Contest s Guide Dear applicant: This manual is intended to guide you through the application process in the 6 th Innovation Contest. Please read these instructions before completing your application. Inscription (Step 0) 1. Got to www.expoalimentariaperu.com/en/ 2. Locate the cursor over Activities. 3. After displaying the list, click Innovation Contest. 4. Click SIGN UP for starting your inscription. SIGN UP 1
Register (Step 1): 1. Click SEARCH. 2. A popup window will appear, click on the upper text field in order to start the search. 3. You can search for your company by typing the "Trade Name", the "Company Name" or "VAT number", preferably use this last option. 2
3.1. If you find your company in the search engine: 3.1.1. Select it. 3.1.2. Click Continue. 3
3.1.3. Your company data will be automatically entered in the registration form. You must complete the pending data. 3.1.4. Enter the corresponding data in the "Person responsible for registration" section. Consider that the system does not allow cellphone numbers with less than nine digits and that visitors living outside Peru should include their respective 4
country and city code; Also, the e-mail account must be correctly entered to be accepted (Example: actividades.ferias@adexperu.org.pe). 3.1.5. Select a maximum of three categories in which your product will compete. 3.1.6. Enter the code shown in the box and click FINISH REGISTRATION. 3.1.7. A new window indicating the registration finalization will appear. Click "OK" to finish with step 1. 5
3.2. If you do not find your company in the search engine: 3.2.1. Click I didn t find my Company, I wish to return to the form to register it. 3.2.2. Enter the Company data. 3.2.3. Enter the corresponding data in the "Person responsible for registration" section. Consider that the system does not allow cellphone numbers with less than nine 6

Accesing the Virtual Platform VERY IMPORTANT Dear applicant, before continuing with your application through the virtual platform, we ask that you contemplate the following scenarios and the respective steps to follow: SCENARIO You are applying with one product in one, two or three categories. You are applying with two or three products in two or three categories. You are applying with more than one product in the same category. STEPS TO FOLLOW You will have to register the same information in Step 2 and Step 3 in each of the categories in which you are competing. You will have to register the requested information in Step 2 and Step 3 for each product in the category in which it s competing. You will have to contact c.innovacion@adexperu.org.pe 1. Head to the inbox of the e-mail account that you registered previously in the registration form and review the username and password. Maximum wait time 48 hours. 2. Click the hyperlink shown in the email. 8
3. Enter the username and password you received in the previous email. 4. Click the category s link, consider that you will only be able to view the categories in which you participate (maximum three). 9
5. Enter to each of the categories in which you have registered, there you will be able to review important documents and complete the steps 2 and 3 of the application. 10
Important Documents: Review the important documents before continuing with the step 2 (paso 2) Ficha de declaración jurada (affidavit form): Download the PDF, fill it properly and upload the document in the virtual plataform - See Carga de Documentos (Paso 3) in the page 13.- Terms and Conditions: Read thoroughly this document. Cuestionario sobre la innovación del producto (Questionnaire about the product innovation): In a separate document, answer the questions and upload the documents to the virtual platform - See Carga de Documentos (Paso 3) in the page 13.- Bid Registration (Step 2): 1. To start paso 2 (step 2), click Ficha de inscripción. 2. Then click responda a las preguntas. 11
3. Complete the form with your data and click Registrar candidatura. 12
4. Click Continuar and go to paso 3 (step 3). Documents Upload (Step 3): 1. To attach the documents, press Dé clic para subir los documentos. 2. Click agregar entrega. 3. Drag the requested files to the field with the blue arrow. 4. After uploading the required files, click guardar cambios. 13
5. If you still need to attach a file or want to modify one, click editar entrega and follow the steps previously indicated. Once you have attached all the corresponding files, your application will be completed. Note that you can only access this platform until June 12, 2015, as indicated in the schedule of activities that can be reviewed in the "Terms and Conditions" of this contest.
