Cadet Assessment 2FLY has partnered with Symbiotics, one of the world s most advanced pilot assessors. They conduct assessment and selection for airlines and military organisations around the globe. The purpose of the Assessment is to assess your aptitude and potential to succeed in completing a programme of commercial pilot training. Successful completion of the Selection Process will result not only in you being offered a place on a 2FLY Pro-Pilot Programme, but in the secure knowledge that any risk of you failing to complete your training is minimised. Furthermore, passing the Assessment qualifies you to receive the benefit of the 2FLY Guarantee which is designed to provide you with a safety net against failure due to lack of aptitude which may become apparent during training. The 2FLY Assessment Process consists of two stages: Stage 1: Online tests A series of computer-based tests conducted at one of our assessment centres. Stage 2: Assessment Debrief The results of your assessment tests will be immediately available to enable a 2FLY training advisor to go through the reports with you. If successful, you will be offered a place on a Pro-Pilot Programme. If you have a parent or sponsor we suggest they attend this part of the process so that all otpions, including funding solutions, can be considered. Throughout my training in Spain, I found the aircraft, simulators, and instructors to be of very high standard. One of the best things I found was the clear communication between instructors and students, arranging the best possible and most efficient schedule. This resulted in my stay being short, and therefore more cost effective. Flying around the southern coast of Spain was an awesome experience, with fantastic views and interesting airports. My experience was fluid, professional, and very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it. Ben Shute 2FLY Graduate, First Officer Flybe.
2FLY Training Guarantee Airline pilot training is an investment designed to bring you a rewarding and fulfilling career. However, it is a fact that a small percentage of students might not achieve the high standards demanded by this profession and may well find the training more challenging than they initially envisaged. 2FLY is aware of the financial commitment which is being made and therefore offers the 2FLY Guarantee to minimise the risk or fear involved in committing to the Pro-Pilot Programme. Therefore, the 2FLY Assessment Process is mandatory in order to qualify for the Guarantee*. The 2FLY Assessment Process is designed to minimise financial risk to candidates by identifying those unsuitable to undergo a full-time programme of pilot training. However, in the unlikely event 2FLY has to terminate a cadet s training due to his lack of aptitude, all training fees paid by that cadet to 2FLY up to that point will be refunded*. In the event the US Training Visa is denied, 2FLY will reimburse* any course fees or deposits paid to that point. In the event your EASA Class 1 Medical application is denied, 2FLY will reimburse* any course fees or deposits paid to that point. 2FLY operates a policy of not asking for the whole course fee up-front. The Training Fee payments are phased, reducing the element of financial exposure to the student and/or the student s financial sponsor. All 2Fly Graduates have access to the benefits of our Airline Referral Scheme. Funding your training The two questions we are most asked as trainers are What are my chances of getting a job once I am trained and qualified? and What funding solutions can you offer to help me pay for my training? With regard to the first question we advise you to thoroughly research the opportunities before you commence training and make an educated decision as to the state of the industry and what it might be like in 12 to 14 months time when you would be looking for employment. There is masses of information about an impending pilot shortage on the internet, but only you can make the decision based on the facts you find. With regard to the second question 2FLY work with several financial institutions who offer funding for training, and one bank in particular can offer 2FLY Pro-Pilot cadets up to 100% of the course fees plus expenses. Furthermore, the package includes a 2 year payment holiday meaning you have 24 months in which to find airline employment before you have to start repaying the loan. We can discuss funding solutions with you during Stage 2 of the Assessment process, though you are welcome to contact a training advisor at any time for one-to-one advice on funding. *Any refund of fees paid is totally at the discretion of 2FLY and made on an individual basis according to the circumstances of each case.
