Working with turf focuses on the preparation and maintenance of grasses and lawn areas used for sports and recreation. The work may require early starts, working weekends and skills in the operation of specialist machinery and equipment. At the supervisory and management levels there is also emphasis on greens reconstruction and renovation, irrigation management, chemical use and healthy turf growth.
