1. Software Introduction The software is independent innovation and applied to infrared touch products with full functions. The software supports operation systems of Windows XP Windows 7 and Windows 8. Page 3 of 22

2. Software Installation See detailed explanation on Software Installation, and unload the software if you have installed it before. 1) Input disk, open the software and double-click TouchDevSetup, select installation contents as the following dialog box, please alter the information in need. And click Next : 2) Click Finish to end the software installation: Page 4 of 22

3) After the installation, observe the right bottom of desktop to see if it has appeared one of the following two gestures in tray icon: if it has, meaning that the installation is successful.(note: The blue one means that the equipment has been connected, the grey one means it hasn t been connected. ) Page 5 of 22

3. Software Uninstall First, please exit if the software is running. Open control panel and select add or remove programs, unload after finding out TouchDev (or from Start all programs TouchDev folder uninstall to enter into Uninstall interface) as following: 1) While popping up dialog box as follow,click OK. 2) While seeing the dialog box as follow, click Finish to end the uninstalling. 4. Software Application 4.1. Running 1) In general, the software will automatically run when starting up. You can find out the tray icon of this software in the right bottom of the desktop. 2) If shut the software carelessly, you can rerun it via Start all programs Touchdev folder Touchdev. (By default,you can also do it by double-click Touchdev on the desktop.) 4.2. Main menu Click the tray icon,it will popup dialog box as follow: Its functions are as follows: 1) Language: You can choose corresponding interface display language. 2) Calibration: Screen calibration is to ensure the position of the touch screen corresponding with the actual position of the panel. 3) Option: Showing the basic information of the touch screen device; configure parameters according to the actual demand to get a better effect; providing control functions of the device as well. 4) About: showing some information of the TouchDev. 5) Exit: Close TouchDev. 4.3. Calibration Click calibration,popup dialog box as follow: Page 7 of 22

4.3.1. Basic mode calibration There are two options custom and Senior in the dialog box above, it s a general mode calibration if no option is selected. The mode is currently applicable to the situation which is connected to only one touch screen. Page 8 of 22

Click calibration,it will pop up the following interface. Then please use touch pen to touch the center of the circle.(in the process of positioning, make sure that the touching pen is perpendicular to the touch surface, and coincide pen point with the circle center.) The orientation icon will move onto the four corners of the screen, touch it in turn. 4.3.2. AccurateCalibrate Click on "accurate calibration" button, the following interface will appear, then please use the touch pen to touch the center of the circle. Precise positioning process, there will be a total of 20 anchor points on the screen, the screen prompts the user only needs the location, then click the red flashing currently point to. 4.3.3. Custom mode calibration When custom is selected, it is custom mode calibration. It supports the following two ways of positioning. Customization mode orientation needs connect two touch screens in the same time. It doesn t support custom mode calibration if there is only one touch screen. 1) Double screen splicing: Double screen splicing refers to dividing the screen into two parts, respectively displaying in two screens, while the two screens all need touch screen. In this way, it needs twice calibration, the first time on the left side, the second on the right side of the screen. 2) Extended mode: Extended mode refers to extending the screen into two parts: main screen and expansion screen, corresponding to two pieces of screens;similarly, the two screens both need touch screen. In this way, it also needs twice calibration, the first time in the main screen, the second in the expansion screen. 4.3.4. Senior model calibration It is senior mode calibration when Senior is selected. Page 10 of 22

In this mode, the user can do screen calibration flexibly according to demand. For example, users can use extended mode to do expansion screen positioning separately and the like. If you have any problem when use this mode to do calibration, please contact technical support. 4.3.5. ShortCut Key While operating the shortcuts from the catalogue, correct the numbers of shortcuts to real situation, and calibrate each shortcut within the specified area for shortcuts on both left and right side. 1. If you do not click the "OneByOne", calibrate as following: Page 11 of 22

1) Click Calibration, there will pop up the following tips: 2) Click the center of the 1st shortcut on the right side and stay for 2 seconds, the following tip will pop up: 3) Click the center of the last shortcut on the right side and stay for 2 seconds, the following tip will pop up: 4) Click the center of the 1st shortcut on the left side and stay for 2 seconds, the following tip will pop up: 5) Click the center of the last shortcut on the left side and stay for 2 seconds, the whole process of calibration is finished. 2. If you click OneByOne, calibrate as following: 1) Click Calibration, start in turn from the 1 st shortcut on the right side of the screen, there will pop up the following tips: 2) After calibrating on the right side, go on in turn from the 1st shortcut on the left side of the screen, do as the following tips: 3. Oneside calibration, positioning steps are as follows: Page 12 of 22

1)Apply in the case of unilateral individual calibration of upper, lower, left, and right sides of the shortcut keys for positioning; first number of keys and key input height and width. As shown: 2)Click the "Calibration" button (shortcut key to calibrate the left, for example), a shortcut key to start from the first sequence alignment, suggesting the following: While finishing the calibration, import and export steps are as following: 1) After calibrating all shortcuts on the screen, you can keep all calibrating data, that is to click Export, the default storage path is: C:\touchdev\touchdev (the file storage type is *.ini, and it will cover the prior calibrated EKey.ini file) Page 13 of 22

2) Next time, if both the size and number of the shortcuts for the whiteboard are the same, it need no recalibration, you can import the calibrated EKey.ini file directly. 4.4. Option Click option,it will popup dialog box as follow: Page 14 of 22

4.4.1. Information Basic shows some information about touch screen connection. For the connection of block touch screen, please choose different touch screen to show the corresponding information. In the box of basic, you can switch between different touch modes, as following: 1. From single to multi touch: click single touch to pop up the menu, then click multi touch to switch to multi touch mode. (Note: only the mode of multi-touch showing with, you can switch to multi-touch mode.) 2. From multi to single touch: click multi-touch to pop up the menu, then click single touch to switch to single touch mode, as in the figure. Page 15 of 22

For operating system of Windows 7 and 8, if touch-screen supports multi-touch, you can configure the "multi-point" mode to experience the multi-touch effect. Single mode: you can completely replace the mouse function, this mode no need to run TouchDev. Multi-mode: can realize multi-touch function or multi-user operation on the same display. "Features" box shows the update information of touch-screen, if showing " " it means supporting, shown as " " indicates no supporting. Multi-touch upgrade: (must have appropriate authority before upgrade) In the box of "feature", click " " in back of "multi-touch", to get the following dialog box: Page 16 of 22

Click upgrade,find the authorization document, open it,then it can upgrade successfully.(it is the corresponding authorization document in the red box.) You can also upgrade Dual switching following in the similar way. Page 17 of 22

4.4.2. Configuration Service Parameter : Configuration of "Service Parameters", it is recommended to use the default value; unless that is a must to be modified. The parameters are as follows: Right button is open or not: choose Yes, it is in function; choose No, it doesn t work; Right button delay time: press the screen and check how long it will take to appear right-button event; Right jitter range: When the finger pressing the screen there is some jitter, in this case, it allows a certain range of jitter. Regard the jitter of the points as the same point, to generate right-event; Smooth processing factor: average many a sampling points to smooth the data sending to the system, that is to reduce jitter; Page 18 of 22

Default button: click default to restore all values of the software to factory default. Saving button: click Save to save the parameters configured. 4.5. Operation Function After the completion of the calibration and configuration, the user can: Click ------ click on the screen object. Double click----click the same screen objects rapidly for successive two times. Drag-----hold the screen, drag the object. Right Click---hold the screen, stay for 2-3 seconds. Page 19 of 22

5. FAQ 1) Why can't the Multi-points in the touch mode be used? Make sure Win7 system supporting multi-touch; At present, win7 home premium or higher version support multi-touch. 2) Exit TouchDev under "Single point" or "Multi-points" mode, why not defaults Mouse mode? Exit TouchDev under "Single touch", pull out the USB cable then plug it again, system defaults to "Mouse" Mode. Exit TouchDev under "Multi-touch" mode, system defaults to "Multi-touch" mode. 3) After pulling out and plugging the USB cable, why is the connection speed of TouchDev slow? This phenomenon is related with the PC system, you can see whether there is a "HID-compliant device" under "computer management" "Device. Management". Note: This input device speed is related with link speed. 4) Why can't some drawing tools run TouchDev Multi-touch Page 20 of 22

mode? Some drawing cannot support multi-touch mode, so please download the drawing tools which can support multi-touch. You must click any drawing function button in drawing tools when switch "single point" to "multi-touch", then click "brush" to touch normally. 5) Why the icons displayed as gray after running TouchDev program? Check whether the USB cable is connected. (Please check whether this is Human Input Device in Device management, and check whether this a HID-compliant device (the details of hardware Id contains VID_10C4) in the lower directory) Confirm the connection of USB cable is successful. Exit TouchDev software, and re-run. 6) Why multi-touch mode does not work when change single mode to multi-touch mode? Please exit TouchDev software and drawing software, and try. If it still does not work, please disconnect and plug USB cable, and run TouchDev software and drawing software again. 7) After operate "Choose language" or "restart device" under multi-touch mode, why can't we draw lines? After operate "Choose language" or "restart device" under multi-touch mode, you must click any drawing function button in drawing tools, then click "brush" to draw lines normally. 8) Why can't the cursor and touch points coincide after screen calibration under multi-touch mode? Open "control panel" "Tablet pc setting" "display", click "reset". 9) What software support multi-touch on Win7? Page 21 of 22

Multi-touch model, it can achieve zoom in/out, turn page for IE (IE8 and above) Word Excel PPT PDF and so on; Drawing on paint with two fingers.
