User Manual for using SyndProtect RSA SecurID Android based Software Tokens for Internet Banking This document describes the process for installing, configuring and using SyndProtect RSA SecurID Software Token in Smartphones having Android 2.1 and above; 1) Installing / Importing RSA SecurID Application in Android based Smartphone 2) Use of RSA SecurID Mobile based Software Token 1. Installing Mobile based RSA SecurID Application The RSA SecurID application can be downloaded free of cost. RSA SecurID software Token is supported on Android OS 2.1 or above. User has to install the application available in Google Play (Android Market). Google Play (Android Market) is a centralized location of applications developed for Android devices. RSA does not support other methods of installing the application other than from Google Play (Android Market). User can download the android software from the below mentioned link in their smartphones: https://play.google.com/store/search?q=pname:com.rsa.securidapp or else search for "RSA SecurID" in Play Store (Android Market). 2 Type rsa securid in search window of Play Store 3 Search of the RSA SecurID and select the RSA SecurID Software Token icon. 4 Click on the INSTALL button. Page 4 of 11
5 ACCEPT button for App installation permissions 6 After installation Click on OPEN button. Page 5 of 11
7 Select the KEY button in your Mobile phone 8 Select the Import Token option in bottom left corner. 9 Copy and Paste the Software Tokens of RSA SecurID provided by the bank through email. Page 6 of 11
10 Open the Text file Provided by Bank through Email Copy and Paste the content 11 After Pasting click on Import button. Page 7 of 11
12 Token Import Successful message will appear; Click on OK button. 13 Token-Code starts generating and in every 60 second it keeps on changing. 2. Using the RSA SecurID Mobile Based Software Token 2.1. Introduction To enhance the security of online transactions of Internet Banking, Bank has implemented SyndProtect product using RSA SecurID Software Tokens. Transaction Password with PASSCODE (PIN + Token-Code) This will replace the existing RSA SecurID Software Token generates an eight digit Token-Code at a frequency of every 60 seconds. Each Token-Code can be used only once within this duration. Apart from this, you (the User) will be able to set your own PIN (i.e. 4 digits, numeric values only). Page 8 of 11

2.3. Usage of RSA SecurID Software token 2.3.1. First Time User First time users for RSA SecurID Desktop token have to set their PIN. After setting the PIN, user can do their transactions by entering PIN + Token i.e. PASSCODE. Use of RSA SecurID Software Token is demonstrated for first time user as below:- 1) While performing transactions, users will be asked for 2FA. Following Screen will appear, prompting user to enter the Token-code. a) Enter the token-code as displayed on the SecurID Token b) Since you are the first time user, system will throw the below Message. c) Please visit the Set SyndProtect PIN Menu as mentioned in the above message d) User will be prompted to set a 4 digit numerical PIN. PIN should be remember by the user (should not be shared with anyone). Page 10 of 11
e) Confirmation screen will appear upon successful setting of PIN with Token- Code. f) User can initiate the transactions directly by entering the Passcode (PIN + Token-Code). 2.3.2. Returning User Users who have already set the PIN, will have to perform their transactions by entering PIN + Token i.e. PASSCODE. a) Enter the Pin + Token-code (Passcode) then click on submit Note: Please note that in case the RSA SecurID Mobile based Software Token is lost/stolen/corrupt, kindly contact your Branch for necessary action or drop in an email to syndprotect@syndicatebank.co.in or contact our Internet Banking Helpdesk 18004255784. -- End of Document -- Page 11 of 11
