Company Profile Fior Drissage Jewellers Limited (FDJL), one of the leading manufacturers and marketers of Clear Set Diamond jewellery, popularly known as Floating Diamonds Jewellery is a renowned Jeweller established under the Company act of Sri Lanka, and a registered company under the Registrar of Companies of Sri Lanka. The registered office & Factory is located in the vicinity of the Bandaranaike International Airport & the Board of Investment (BOI) processing zone Katunayake, Sri Lanka. FDJL is a specialist manufacture of Gold jewellery studded with diamonds & precious gem stones using the revolutionary Clear Set Diamond Process, which is also known as Invisible settling. This setting process does not require the use of any metal to hold the Gems or Diamonds. Therefore, the Diamonds or any Coloured Gem Stones are held free of any of the traditional holding materials and the result is the Diamonds and Gem Stones are totally exposed to light resulting maximum brilliance, luster & fire of diamonds & gems. Board of Directors Mr. W.G. B.M. Ranaweera Chairman /Managing Director A fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and holds a Honours Degree in Commerce from the University of Sri Lanka. He has extensive experience in International Jewellery Manufacturing and the Diamond Cutting Industry. He held the positions of Finance Director, Managing Director and Chairman of Blue Diamond Jewellery Worldwide PLC between 1992 till November 2011. Further, he was the Deputy Chairman of Lanka Diamonds Ltd, which was a joint venture company between Rosy Blue N.V Belgium and Ceylinco Group for cutting and faceting of Diamonds for over 25 years. Mr. M.M. Neil Priyantha Production Director He was a pioneer in development of the Floating Diamond setting process at Blue Diamond Jewellery Worldwide PLC. He had well over 25 years experience in the manufacturing of Jewellery and has made a valuable contribution in the perfection of the Floating Diamond development process. He held the position of Director Research and Development and Setting Division of Blue Diamond Jewellery Worldwide PLC till mid 2012. Further use of coloured base materials to add a range of colours to the Floating Diamond Jewellery collection was initiated by Mr. Neil, which created an excitement in the Jewellery trade. Mr. K.V.V.D. Dias Director He has well over 20 years experience in the Jewellery production area and had been the Director of Blue Diamond Jewellery Worldwide PLC till mid 2012. Mr. Anada Gamage Director He is a chartered architect and has experience in the field of construction of civil work. He is working as an independent Non-Executive Director. Mrs. K.I.
