CPMA is now entering its 20 th year of operation. We are pleased to report that CPMA is now acknowledged, both within India and overseas, as the nodal association in the Indian chemicals and petrochemicals sector working closely with the Government in the areas of policy and addressing key issues facing the industry. CPMA is also an active member of Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC). As in the past, in 2011-12 CPMA took up key industry issues with the Government/ government bodies including the Dept. of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, which is the administrative ministry for the chemicals and petrochemicals industry, provided inputs to the Government to improve the policy environment, organized major industry events and networked with counterpart associations in other countries. Some of the association s key initiatives are listed below. Vinyl India Conference- Co-hosted- April 2011 APIC Year Book 2011. APIC 2010 was held for the first time in India.-may 2010 Automotive Plastics Conference- Co Hosted- Nov 2011 5th International Chemical Conference. ICC/HIS/CPMA event- Feb 2011 Pre Budget Memorandum including fiscal issues- Sep/Oct 2011 Subgroup Report on Petrochemicals for the 12 th Five Year Plan constituted by the Dept. of Chemicals & Petrochemicals- Sep 2011 Submissions for addressing key policy issues like JPMA- Ongoing Safeguarding domestic industry s interests on international trade & WTO issues and FTAs- Ongoing Plastindia 2012- Feb 2012

Subscription amount due from your company, as per Clause 5A of the memorandum of association (enclosed for ready reference) is Rs. 1.25 lakhs (Rupees one lakh and twenty five thousand only). We would request you to send your company s membership subscription to CPMA for the year 2012-13 by the 15 th of April 2012 so that the association s activities for the year could be planned well in advance. Payment may be made by way of Demand Draft/local cheque favoring Chemicals & Petrochemicals Manufacturers Association payable at New Delhi or through Bank Transfer so as to be received by the Association. Annexure I Clause No 5A Pursuant to clause No. 5 A of the Rules & regulations of CPMA as amended, Minimum Annual Subscription payable by member companies to the Association is as follows: i) A Member having an annual turnover upto Rs. 1000 crores shall pay a minimum annual subscription of Rs. 1.25 lakhs (Rupees one lakh and twenty five thousand only) to the Association. ii) A Member having an annual turnover exceeding Rs. 1000 crores shall pay a minimum annual subscription of Rs. 3.75 lakhs (Rupees Three lakhs and seventy five thousand only) to the Association
