Speaking of safety, we are pleased that the marina project has been completed. The new docks and bulkheads help make our facility a safe place for all. I would like to offer a special thanks to our membership for their support of the project. Numerous individuals should also be recognized for all the time and efforts they volunteered on the marina project. Jeff O Donnell heads up the marina committee and he had a great team supporting him. We are especially grateful for the efforts from PC Jim Waters who was the project manager and Jim Collins who spearheaded many of the special project needs. Jeff s team was rounded out by PC s John Groskoph, Matt Ryan, and Bob Hartel with our new GM, Brian Juliano who wasted no time jumping in the fray. Youth and Sailing is as strong as ever with a class size approximately 10% larger than last year. We are very pleased to welcome Kevin Strogen back at the helm of Youth and Sailing. I am hearing great comments on the dining and staff under the leadership of our new General Manager, Brian Juliano. Additionally, the reviews we have received from this year s wedding parties have been fabulous as the weddings continue to be a great asset for the club. The AYC is pleased to announce that we have 20 new members this year. If you see a new face around, please take a moment to introduce yourself and welcome them to the club. I mentioned at the Flag Raising that the July 4th weekend would be here before we knew it. We start the celebration with an evening of mind reading with Max Minor on the 3rd CPF QWT ſtuv deck party the evening of the 6th. Also please mark your calendars for the annual AYC Fishing Tournament held over the weekend of the 12th. Susan and I look forward to seeing you at these events and the many other happenings in July!
