Reception Services for Psychologists in Private Practice Designed by Psychologists for Psychologists.
Introduction Running a successful private practice can be both challenging and rewarding. However sometimes the responsibilities that come with running a business can detract from the satisfaction that comes from helping people overcome personal issues and difficulties. Through many years of working with psychologists right across Australia we ve acquired a sound understanding of the challenges faced by many psychologists in private practice. Typically we find that these challenges include: Finding time to manage the business side of the practice while also seeing clients Marketing the practice to generate a new source of clients into the future Managing client appointments, cancellations and reschedules (particularly when you re occupied in session) Gaining a sound understanding of your finances; profit and loss, expenses, overheads and profitability Finding time for professional development Isolation Who to trust and rely on for psychological and business support Reaching a healthy work/life balance Ability to sell your business as a going concern In response to these challenges and many more, we developed a range of business solutions that effectively address these issues and provide psychologists with the tools, support and resources they need to run a successful practice with ease.

Testimonials from Psychologists Virtual Briefcase has been an amazing addition to our practice. We ve tried a number of other practice management systems and despite receiving some training in them, we still struggled to complete certain tasks or correct data entry errors. They were just so complicated. The Virtual Briefcase is the complete opposite. Myself and my team were able to use it straight away. The key things we love about it is that it s Internet based so we can access it anywhere this is particularly important because we all work part-time in the practice. It is also so easy to enter client details, raise invoices and make payment as well. Tracking our client sessions is a cinch, which with Medicare compliance requirements, makes life easier and less stressful. As the owner, the reporting tools I have access to are fantastic and make the financial stuff so much easier. Finally, the guys at Virtual Briefcase really know what they are on about and are very friendly. So any of our queries have been answered promptly. I would definitely recommend it to other psychologists in private practice and in fact, have already done so! Kirstin Bouse Clinical & Forensic Psychologist (WA) Virtual Briefcase is a one-stop-shop solution for running my private practice. David Nowland Psychologist (QLD) The Virtual Briefcase has opened the door to new clients for my practice.
