About Campus Eiffel Paris Situated in the heart of Paris, steps away from the Eiffel Tower, Campus Eiffel welcomes French and international students providing the opportunity to study and enhance their marketable skills and transform themselves into the next international leaders. The institutions present on Campus Eiffel are the two French Grandes Ecoles ESCE and ECE as well as IFG. ESCE International Business School was established in 1968 and is one of the leading business schools offering a Master s degree accredited by the French Ministry of Higher Education and of Research, placing itself in the top five amongst the post-baccalaureate business schools in France. Founded in 1919 ECE Paris Graduate School of Engineering is primarily focusing on emerging information and communication technologies such as computer science, networks, telecommunications, electronics, embedded systems and digital media technology and their applications in environment, health, transportation and finance. The Summer Program provides international students the opportunity to study at Campus Eiffel for four weeks within a multicultural learning environment. Participating in Campus Eiffel s Summer Program is the perfect opportunity to absorb the true French culture and traditions whilst learning the French Language and the essentials of business and engineering related topics. Summer Certificate Program Overview Campus Eiffel offers a summer program which consists of a variety of courses including French language, business, engineering and French culture courses in English or in Spanish, complemented by cultural activities and visits. The French language classes cater for all levels from beginner to advanced. A Survival French course is also available as an alternative option. The business courses taught in English or in Spanish put emphasis on characteristically French industries, international trade and marketing. The engineering courses focus on system programming and micro controllers. The cultural courses introduce the international students to the French culture and help them understand its dimensions. These courses are taught in English or in French (intermediate level of French or above is required). SUMMER CERTIFICATE To obtain the Summer Certificate, students attend courses totaling 72 contact hours by choosing: Intensive French Language course (4 weeks, 48 contact hours) AND one course of 24 contact hours in Business, Engineering or Culture OR Three courses of 24 contact hours each in Business, Engineering, Culture or Survival French

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES AND VISITS To complement the courses, weekly cultural activities and visits are organized as part of the Summer Program. Activities will highlight different aspects of French culture and traditions. Activities include: - Guided visits of Paris famous museums and monuments - Wine & Cheese event, sampling specialties from the different regions in France - A guided visit of some of the region s historical sites (Versailles, ) - Sightseeing and guided visit of a typical Parisian quarter (Montmartre,...) - Company visits and/or guest speakers
Practical Information PROGRAM DATES Orientation / Monday, July 1, 2013 Welcome Event (afternoon) First Day of Classes Tuesday, July 2, 2013 End of Classes / Friday, July 26, 2013 Certificate Ceremony Academic credit transfer: Transferring ECTS to your home university Our summer program courses are assigned ECTS (European Credit Transfer System). The amount of credits for each course is indicated on the course list. Students are able to transfer the credits obtained to their home universities. Detailed program descriptions and outlines will be provided to the students to facilitate the credit transfer process. It is the responsibility of the student to follow up with their home institutions during the transfer process. Please note that you do not have to be a current university student to participate in this program Program Requirements The program is open to anyone who has completed their high school diploma and is of legal age. For the courses at the graduate level, the students must have prior knowledge of the subject area or pre-requisites. Please see course description of each course interested on our website. Program Fee Program fee is based on 72 contact hours in total plus cultural visits and activities that are included in the program: Intensive French Language course (4 weeks, 48 contact hours in total) + 1 course in Business, Engineering or Culture (24 contact hours) OR 3 courses in Business, Engineering, Culture or Survival French (24 contact hours for each course) Fee includes: - Orientation and Welcome Event - Weekly cultural visits / activities - Computer accounts at the school (WIFI access) - Access to the school s MediaCenter - Official transcript of grades - Program Certificate - Certificate Ceremony 1,850 1,850 How to Register Step 1: The application form can be downloaded from our website: www.esce.fr (under International > International Applicants) or email summer@esce.fr to request a form. Step 2: Registrants will be notified by email to confirm the receipt of their application form. Step 3: An invoice for the program fee will be sent to the student by email and by postal mail. Step 4: Once the program fee is received by the school, an official confirmation letter will be sent to the student by email and by post to confirm a place in the program. The cancellation policy is available on our website. ACCOMMODATION Accommodation is not included in the above price but we can arrange accommodation for you in a private residence building easily accessible from Campus Eiffel or Homestay. Due to limited spaces available, we strongly encourage students to contact us (summer@esce.fr) as soon as they decide to participate in the Summer Program in order to reserve accommodation through the school.
