The Digital Entreprise An exceptional venue Hotel Metropole Brussels was built in 1895 and is the only nineteenth-century hotel in Brussels still in operation today. The hotel has 298 rooms and 15 suites. French architect Alban Chambon was commissioned to be the chief designer of the hotel. Today, Chambon s design of modern comfort and luxury is still a prominent feature of the heritage hotel, which is considered an important historical landmark in the city. Not only was Hotel Metropole one of the first luxury hotels, it was also the first to have electricity, central heating and a 5-story elevator, which is still in operation today. The hotel s reception, lobby, and lounge are overtly ornate with Corinthian columns, rich furnishings, gilded details, and glittering chandeliers all of which can still be seen and experienced today at the hotel. In fact, many heritage tours of Brussels visit the Hotel Metropole to look upon its facades and design. Similarly, the meetings and conference rooms of the hotel are decorated in a Renaissance style the perfect place for your company to be reborn! IRIS couldn t be more pleased to welcome you in such an exceptional venue, for a truly one-of-a-kind event.

The Digital Entreprise Workshops Workshop 1: Is your IT infrastructure built to move your business into the Digital Era? The world is changing, our lives are changing... We can pay for items without opening our wallet, we can book a flight without talking to a single person and we can work from any place with the same comfort as we have at the office. Digital experiences will become more present in our everyday lives and in order to provide the optimal digital experience, speed and efficiency are key! During our workshop we will look into the role of your IT infrastructure on the road to the Digital Enterprise. Workshop 2: ECM & Digital Enterprise the best combination for the future There has been a revolution in ECM technologies - originally seen as the formalized means of organizing and storing an organization s documents, today they have extended to become the best gateway between your business processes and all their external users, no matter where they are, which interface they use and what type of information they share with your IT business environment. We will illustrate this evolution in our ECM workshop through the following topics: ECM supporting B2B and B2C information exchange The orchestration role of a Digital Mailroom application in a multichannel environment ECM as the best set of technologies to connect all stakeholders with your IT environment in a secure way, behind your firewall Classification, archiving and storage of structured and semi-structured information ECM and data mining : a great opportunity ECM and Cloud : the best combination ECM : the challenges of the future Workshop 3: Digital Transformation: evolution & trends Digital Transformation seems a key ingredient to the survival of today s organizations. There is, however, no magic bullet. Every organization has to find its own path, accounting for its background, culture and history, as well as the long-term objectives it wishes to achieve in the transformation. During the second part of the workshop, our partner Mutualités Libres will talk about One Organization, or how they go about their own digital transformation process, which they have split up into a multitude of projects, digital or not, which contribute to their new company culture.
Interactive sessions Interactive session 1: How to keep control of your managed service provider? As companies are putting more focus on their core business, the move towards managed services providers is a very obvious one to consider. The decision to work with a managed service provider can be initiated on several levels within an organization, but the impact and benefits are not always clear to all parties involved. Over the past 10 years IRIS has evolved from a value added infrastructure reseller to a value added infrastructure reseller which provides managed services. The reason for this new strategy was as a direct demand of our customers to outsource (part of ) their expertise to IRIS in order to optimize their own operations. Currently most companies have one or several managed services providers and keeping control of these parties and contracts can be a challenge. During our workshop, as we outline the principles of a managed services provider, we will invite you to share your own experience with your own managed services providers. We will also discuss the reasons why companies, including yours, decided to work with one and what the triggers are to choose between different managed services providers, all in all allowing us to come up with a set of best practices and a clear view on the current market. The discussion could for instance be articulated around typical examples such as: Systems management, storage, security, back up, service desk... The creation and management of a list of predefined services The various ways to control your managed services provider (SLA s, KPI s...) And many more! Interactive session 2: The Digital Enterprise: how to connect separated entities? As a starting point for this session, we will base ourselves on a virtual practical case study which will allow us to collectively define and describe all the required components to move from a traditional customer relationship to an extended Digital B2C Enterprise. We will see how effective and valuable it is to build a hybrid team IRIS - Customer - Other contractors in order to meet the expected results on the short term and ensure a quick ROI. Among others, the following themes will be discussed so as to share knowledge or answer questions you might have on those crucial aspects of your digital transformation: Infrastructure Cloud Integration between IRIS Technologies & Services and an existing environment Security challenges Multichannel relationship Governance Interactive session 3: How does collaborative technology impact organizational culture? The Digital Enterprise is, inevitably, the result of a digital transformation. However, to be successful, that transformation cannot be only technological; for most organizations it s also a profound culture and value shift! The How does collaborative technology impact organizational culture? is an interactive workshop session during which we will explore as a group the interplay of culture and technology, sharing experiences and building on our collective intelligence. 7
