With over 200 destinations, Aalborg is only one stop away; especially America, Asia and Africa have exceptionally good connections. Flight time between Amsterdam and Aalborg is 65 minutes. Moreover, between Copenhagen and Aalborg, there are more than 30 daily flight connections, and you can always find a cheap ticket. To mention a few traditional venues: Comwell Hvide Hus Aalborg Aalborg s third largest hotel was fully renovated in 2014 and now offers 198 thoroughly renovated and newly decorated rooms with all modern conveniences in the heart of Aalborg. The hotel is located next to Aalborg Congress and Culture Centre and offers itself four star meeting and conference facilities for up to 500 participants. Aalborg Airport Hotel The brand new Aalborg Airport Hotel (2014), situated only a stone s throw from the entrance to the airport, has added 64 rooms to the city s capacity. The hotel offers limited meeting facilities however, an expansion is expected including larger meeting facilities. Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre Aalborg Congress & Culture Centre offers state-of-the-art facilities and 40 different meeting rooms. Mortens Kro has room and conference facilities for 200 people and can also deliver food to other venues. The Lille Vildmose Centre Lille Vildmose and its café work in partnership to organize meetings and conferences. Food at Lille Vildmose is made exclusively, or almost exclusively, from local Marshland ingredients, ingredients originating in Lille Vildmose. Many of the ingredients are organic, grown in the surrounding unspoiled countryside. At the same time, Lille Vildmose can offer outdoor activities and an event built on sustainable principles. Egholm Vestergaard On the little island of Egholm, just a 5-minute ferry-ride from the city centre, you will find the venue Egholm Vestergaard, where you can leave behind the stress and strain of the city and hold your event in a beautifully tranquil, rural setting.

6 Rankings Little by little, Aalborg is climbing the international meeting destination rankings. Aalborg currently has overtaken cities such as Hannover, Strasbourg, Cannes, Davos and Los Angeles (ICCA, 2013). Aalborg has lots to offer. That goes for conference facilities of course but also for the city itself. Award winning harbour front In recent years, Aalborg has transformed from a city of industry into a city of remarkable architecture and knowledge. The central harbour front in particular has undergone a significant transformation and is now an area that ties central Aalborg with its medieval elements beautifully together with the Limfjord area only a few minutes away from the pedestrian streets. Today the harbour front is an area of possibilities and experiences designed with a sea front for walking, biking or running, ball games and sun bathing. Also it has different flight of stairs as well as a number of lowered terraces that allow visitors to get very close to the water.
