There are 12 possible starting dates spread over the entire year. This will enable you to develop your language skills and combine any number of courses to create a systematic language-learning program. At the start of your course we will ask you about your individual learning goals and follow up with ongoing support during the learning process. This results in tight integration of the classroom lessons, selfstudy activities and practice. This course is suitable for you if you have been working for some time in Germany or are about to begin a residency to train as a specialist at a German hospital. With our German course you will enhance your communication and language skills while developing your intercultural competency for working in the medical field. You will learn new medical and pharmaceutical vocabulary terms, German colloquial expressions for diseases and organs, various forms of clinical documentation, and the correct style for writing physician s reports. We practice patient conversations with you, for example, in taking down medical histories and examination situations.
