Project management and accountability 1.1 Produce a detailed plan to support delivery of a high quality community development project and achievement of targets. 1.2 Oversee delivery of the plan, taking responsibility for meeting targets and deadlines and ensuring compliance with funding requirements. 1.3 Manage spending in line with agreed budgets. 1.4 Develop a team approach across staff employed by MVDA and The Hope Foundation. 1.5 Establish an on-going process of evaluation and review in line with ABM s test and learn approach. 1.6 Organise partnership meetings between MVDA and The Hope Foundation. 1.7 Ensure that monitoring data is collected on MVDA and ABM systems as appropriate and collect stories of change as required. 1.8 Provide management information and prepare reports as required. 1.9 Manage the performance of other team members, providing supervision and appraisal in line with MVDA policy and procedures. 2. Key relationships 2.1 Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key individuals with a role in Ageing Better Middlesbrough, including the Programme Manager. 2.2 Establish productive working relationship with the Hope Foundation,

bringing any staffing matters to the attention of the CEO in a timely way. 2.3 Develop appropriate working links between the Community Development Project and the Ageing Better Middlesbrough Advisory Group. 2.4 Represent the Community Development Project within the wider ABM programme and to external agencies as appropriate. 2.5 Establish a wide range of appropriate strategic external relationships. 3. Project delivery 3.1 Undertake delivery of elements of community development, supporting and/or covering for colleagues as necessary. 3.2 Work with colleagues to design and deliver training and other events to build community capacity. 3.3 Ensure that the Community Development Project meets the needs of marginalised and excluded communities. 3.4 Develop mechanisms for ensuring that older people in the target communities can inform and shape project development. 3.5 Oversee the production of high quality information materials and prepare copy for newsletters, briefings, web pages etc. as required. 4.
