Transport links Blekinge is in south-eastern Sweden and occupies a key location, in particular from a European perspective. Rail There is a wide range of frequent rail services. Malmö is approximately 3 hours away, and Copenhagen another 30 minutes. The travel time to Stockholm is around 5 hours and to Göteborg roughly 4.5 hours. Air From Ronneby Airport, which is 30 minutes by car from the centre of Karlskrona, there are flights to Stockholm/Arlanda and Stockholm/Bromma that take around 1 hour. There are also charter flights directly from Ronneby Airport to a number of countries.

Express coaches There are express coaches to Malmö and Stockholm. Ferries Karlskrona has daily departures to Gdynia in Poland. The travel time is around 10 hours. Every year, more than half a million people travel between Karlskrona and Gdynia. There is also a ferry to Klaipeda in Lithuania from Karlshamn, 60 km from Karlskrona. Archipelago services Karlskrona has a thriving archipelago that has frequent passenger and vehicle ferry services. Public transport Local and regional public transport is very well developed with both buses and trains. The travel times are often short. Subject to changes.
