Create a page based on a slideshow template. 3. Edit and upload your images. 4. Download and upload the slideshow player (sorry, there is no automatic way to do this in OmniUpdate). 5. Provide information about each of your images (for accessibility). 6. Download and upload the file that contains the information you provided for each of your images. Step 1: Create a New Folder In the directory view of OmniUpdate, click on the new icon in the top right-hand corner of the page. Click on New Folder in the top left-hand corner of the page. Type a name for the folder. (You may want to use slideshow1 if you plan to have more than one slideshow in your directory. Leave the New file Filename as the default index.pcf. Additional Info: After creating the new index page in the directory, the directory will contain an index.pcf, navigation.html, subnav.html, and a getpics.php file inside of this directory. -- The getpics.php is a special file that will display your images to you when you are creating descriptions for your images in step 6. Step 3: Edit and Upload Your Images The images need to be 400px x 300px, and can be.gif,.jpg, or.png file formats. You can edit these before you upload them into OmniUpdate or use the OmniUpdate photo editor. Go to http://www.sbcc.edu/slideshow_include/step3.php to view a video of how to use the editor in OmniUpdate. Uploading Images Navigate to the folder that you created in step 1.
