It is therefore important for us to celebrate the goodness of God and what He has done through this ministry in such a short time. The congregants of Word of Life Christian Church invite you to join us in celebrating 5 years of progressive ministry in the city of Flint and Genesee County. The theme for the celebration is "Normal is Not Enough". Normal thinking and settling for the norm is not what brought WOLCC to this 5th Anniversary - God gave us an abnormal vision, and He has produced the overflow! So let's begin to change this community and city by producing sensational results that glorify God and bless His people. John 14:12 states; Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. Normal Is Not Enough! On May 12 and May 13, of 2012, we are planning a weekend to remember in order to commemorate achievements and milestones of our ministry. We are writing first and foremost to provide you with information on our celebration activities and to invite you to come and fellowship with us! Our events are highlighted below: WOL Economic Conclave - Saturday, May 12, 2012, 1 pm. - 3 pm. WOL 5th. Anniversary Gala - Saturday, May 12, 2012, 6 pm.- 9 pm. - Flint Golf Club Main Dining Room WOL Sunday Worship Celebration - Sunday, May13, 2012, - 9 am - WOL Christian Church The Anniversary Gala will be an unforgettable evening of celebration. It will highlight and acknowledge the positive accomplishments of this ministry with compliments of praise and worship, a christian comedian and the iconic Rev. Jesse Jackson as our special guest. We are also inviting you to extend your written special congratulatory acknowledgements by placing an advertisement in the Commemorative Souvenir Booklet that will capture the spirit of this anniversary celebration.
