We do hope that you will be able to find some way to fulfill your dream, whether it be via this scholarship or via some alternative method. Please read of the instructions below carefully and be sure to fill up all applicable information. Make sure you do not omit any of the requirements. Be mindful of the deadline for submission. This will be strictly followed by the CBC scholarship screening committee and the Director of Admissions. If you have questions or do not understand something about the application, do not hesitate to ask the one who gave you the application or our student recruiter. WHAT DOES IT COST FOR A CBC EDUCATIOIN An education at CBC costs P4,000 per month, or P40,000 annually for the 10 month instructional period that covers 2 semesters. The following fees are included in the monthly costs: Meals (3 per day) at the CBC cafeteria P1400 per month Housing on the CBC Campus P600 per month Student allowances for evangelism and discipleship P1000 per month CBC student education fee P1000 per month (You can also request to live off campus with family or relatives and/or provide your own meals in order to reduce the cost of a CBC education. Please contact your CBC recruiting representative if you need to discuss this option.) WHO MAY APPLY FOR A CBC SCHOLARSHIP? Some CBC scholarships are available for those high school students who have excelled in performance, such as valedictorians, salutatorians, and honor students. If you fit into one of these categories, be sure to inform your CBC representative and the CBC scholarship committee. Most CBC scholarships are intended to assist those students who have very limited financial means of support for school. This is why it is important that you answer all the questions below and fulfill all requirements on time. If you cannot show to the scholarship screening committee that you truly need a scholarship, you will likely not be able to receive a scholarship. First consider if your family, congregation or relatives can support you to attend CBC. If your family or congregation can provide most of your support, this will allow others who need more help to have the opportunity to prepare for full time service in God s Kingdom.. SEVEN EASY STEPS TO COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION 1) Submit your completed Application for Admission along with all the requirements stated therein. 2) Complete and submit this Scholarship Application form. 3) Write a 250-word essay on Why I Should be Awarded this Scholarship (see last page of this form).

2 4) Submit two letters with your application: One from your preacher or church leader and one from your parents. (Note: You must use the form letters attached with this application form.) 5) Take and pass the CBC Entrance Exam before the required deadline. 6) Pass an interview with the scholarship committee. 7) Agree to the General Requirements below. GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS 1) Must have the minimum required high school final average stated for the particular scholarship applied for (see the individual scholarships on the following pages for the required average) 2) Must be a fulltime student, taking at least five subjects per semester as advised by the faculty. 3) Must do five hours of supervised evangelism each week 4) Must be willing to undergo a basic physical exam under CBC supervision and cost 5) Must maintain the minimum required performance level each semester REMINDERS Apply Early! Submit your documents only to an official CBC representative or faculty member. Make sure you have complied with all requirements and completed all questions. Sign AND date your application. 3 CBC SCHOLARSHIPS Cebu Bible College offers four different financial aid scholarship packages to high school graduates based on academic achievement, heart for ministry, and family financial needs. I. Scholarship of Academic Excellence The Scholarship of Academic Excellence is available for students who have excelled in academic performance and who have a demonstrated heart for ministry. Valedictorians, Salutatorians, First and Second Honorable Mention students, and other high school graduates who have excelled academically are eligible to apply for the Scholarship of Academic Excellence. All CBC costs will be covered, including (1) housing in the dormitory (a bed space in a shared room), (2) three meals each day, (3) transportation and food allowances for the required weekly evangelism and to attend worship at their assigned congregation, and (4) all student educational fees. A. Requirements 1. General requirements stated above. 2. High School final grade average of 90% or better 3. Demonstrated heart for ministry 4. Plans for post graduate study after CBC B. Benefits (valued at P4000 per month) 1. Free meals in the CBC cafeteria and housing on the CBC campus 2. No CBC Student Education Fees 3. Student allowances for required evangelism II. Pioneering Scholarship The Pioneering Scholarship is for high school students who have a proven academic record, who have a demonstrated heart for ministry, and who need financial assistance to pursue a degree in Bible and ministry. The scholarship provides housing, meals and evangelism allowances as described above; but Student Educational Fees are not covered. A fee of P1000 per month to cover Student Educational Fees will need to be paid by the student, their family, the local church, or other sources available to the student and their family. A. Benefits (valued at P3000 per month) 1. Free meals in the CBC cafeteria and housing on the CBC campus 2. Student allowances for required evangelism C. Remaining Expenses of P1000 per month to attend CBC 1. CBC Student Education Fees P1000 per month

Timothy / Titus Scholarship The Timothy/Titus Scholarship is for high school students who have NOT excelled academically but who have a demonstrated heart for ministry and who need financial assistance to pursue a degree in Bible and ministry. This scholarship provides meals and evangelism allowances as described above; but housing and Student Educational Fees are not covered. A fee of P1600 per month to cover housing and Student Educational Fees will need to be paid by the student, their family, the local church, or other sources available to the student and their family. A. Requirements 1. General requirements stated above. 2. High School final grade average of 80% or better 3. Demonstrated heart for ministry and family financial need B. Benefits (valued at P2400 per month) 1. Free meals in the CBC cafeteria 2. Student allowances for required evangelism C. Remaining Expenses of P1600 per month to attend CBC 1. CBC Student Education Fees P1000 per month 2. Housing on the CBC campus P600 per month IV. Macedonian Scholarship (Full or Partial) In the same way that the Macedonian churches supported the Apostle Paul so that he could dedicate himself to be a herald of the gospel, the Macedonian Scholarship assists students whose local congregation also commits to help the student become a herald of the gospel. The Scholarship amount is based on family financial need along with the recommendations and committed support of the student s local congregation. A. Requirements 1. We humbly request a TITUS / TIMOTHY scholarship to cover the remaining monthly costs (valued at P2,400 / month). 7) Our family is struggling financially, but we believe it is our responsibility to share in the expense for educating our son. Therefore, we will provide a monthly support to CBC of P1000 / month to cover the cost of his CBC Student Education Fees. We humbly request a PIONEER scholarship for the remaining fees (valued at P3,000 / month). 8) We believe it is our responsibility to share in the expense for educating our son. Therefore, we will provide a monthly support to CBC of P to help offset our son s monthly educational costs. Our local congregation will also provide P per month to support our son s preparation for full time service in the Kingdom. We humbly request a partial MACEDONIAN scholarship for the remaining monthly costs. 9) Due to financial constraints, WE ARE NOT ABLE to provide ANY support for our son s monthly costs. I also understand that they are for those students who intend to graduate from CBC and become Full Time ministers or missionaries. Therefore, the church will provide monthly support to CBC of P per month; and his family will also provide an additional P per month to help offset the students costs of P4,000 per month. We humbly request a partial MACEDONIAN scholarship for the remaining monthly costs. 9) Our congregation and this applicant s family cannot provide any monthly support for this student. We believe in this student and the work at CBC, so we will commit to pray for this student and for the work at CBC, and provide all or part of his travel expense back and forth to CBC.
